Q: What is the operating psi?

The maximum smoke and air output pressure is 14 PSI. The built-in gauge will accurately tell the system pressure.

Q: Baby oil or mineral oil could work with this smoke machine?

That's a great question! Our Smoke Machines operate on Approved Smoke Fluid for the cleanest and best smoke output, tested and proven from our lab. Smoke Fluid Refill is available by checking our store. This unit is also compatible with USP mineral oil and baby oil.

Q: Can you adjust the psi you test at im looking for a smoke tester that will test at 1 or 2 psi?

The pressure regulator is dialed and locked to 1 PSI, the automotive standard for smoke testing. Our systems were designed for EVAP testing as well which cannot be tested over 1 PSI. There is no pressure adjustment unfortunately.
