Bad delivery
Book was great condition but it was left at the side door to my garage between two houses. I rarely go out that door because I would need to walk on rocks. Bad delivery

Very good information for the first timer
I had never thought I would be an Executor, so I had never looked into it. When my mom became terminally ill, I started going through her papers and had no idea where to start or what to look for. This not only explained what you needed to do, what you were and were not responsible for (You do not have to pay their debts with your money...only their money, no matter what they try to tell you). You will still have to do some research on your local laws, addresses, and filing deadlines, but this was a great start and put some of my fears to rest.

excellent overview of the process
Hughes & Klein did a great job clearly explaining the process. They included just the right amount of detail without over-burdening the reader.

This book is the exact book as I am Dead Now What
I bought this book thinking it would be helpful as I worked to set up the details of a trust and will. I had purchased “I am Dead Now What” previously. Finally getting around to opening the later book, I was irritated to realize the publisher/author had just stuck the pages of “I Am Dead Now What” into a new cover. Wow how desperate can they be? A review of both books is that they contain thick stock pages with lines to enter all of your information so as to help the unlucky person who must sort out your life after death. It contains financial and personal pages. Obviously it wasn’t completely satisfactory or I wouldn’t have been unfortunate in purchasing another book. But either book will possibly be helpful if you find yourself procrastinating on getting your end of life details in order. I personally will avoid this publisher/author in the future. It may not be illegal but it certainly seems unethical.

Filled with information
Valuable information whether you’re trying to settle an estate or prepare to write your own will to avoid probate delays in many instances. Not finished reading yet, but a wealth of information

I recommend that you read this book long before you think ...
This is a super-helpful book, not only for anyone who is (or someday may be) an executor, but also for everyone who wants to name an executor to administer his estate someday. I recommend that you read this book long before you think you may actually need it, so that you can take the time to digest the information and do what you can to prepare ahead of time. The book is written in easy-to-understand terms, with lots of good practical advice. I left one star off because, as a tax professional, I thought some of the tax-related information could have been more thorough. To get a more complete picture of an executor's duties and responsibilities from a tax standpoint, you may want to request IRS publication 559, "Survivors, Executors, and Administrators" (free from the IRS website). This book and Pub. 559 together will give you plenty of good, useful information.

Massive help
This book explains in detail, yet very easy-to-understand language what needs to be done to settle an estate. Considering I'm doing this for the first time, and the attorney is less than helpful, this book is a G-d send.
