Review: Great item - Work perfect but should be more weather resistant and WiFi compatible Review: Not Reliable - My wife and I were away from the house for several days during a heat wave while she delivered our baby. Inconveniently, that's when our timer failed totally. The timer's reliability was always spotty (the valves occasionally failed to open) but it failed totally when we needed it most. We returned home to a dry, brown lawn and a wilted garden. Plants that I had spent dozens of cumulative hours caring for are dead because this timer failed. The timer is still indicating a full battery and an active watering schedule. I cleaned the valves and verified that the timer was functioning before we left. Now everything is dead. The bluetooth range was always extremely poor - maybe 20 feet? And I couldn't be out of line of sight - forget about adjusting your settings from inside of your house. The scheduling in the app is a mess, although it is fairly comprehensive. Buyer beware: there's a reason you've never heard of this brand before.

Not Reliable

Super easy to program and work well as an upgrade to other 4 valve timers
My several year old Melnor 4-valve timers started leaking at the neck. No way to seal properly and I didn't want to waste water. Found these replacement ones that have angled outlets instead of 4 exits that are right next to each other. That was a bonus. These also have Bluetooth (BT) connectivity to smart phones and devices. This feature makes programing them super easy. My old ones were also easy to program but you have to go round and round to program and these are as easy as 1-2-3. The BT feature only works while close by. At my home only one outside spigot is "line of sight" so only one shows up normally. The other one is at the end of the garage and I have to stand right about 35" away before it shows up on the app. Other than that it is super easy to program and take photos of the controller to distinguish which one is which. This also goes for each valve. You can quickly take a photo from the area the sprinkler operates and save that so you can remember which valve operates what areas. Super Easy and helpful.

Easy to use, but the app only works at home
The process is easy to follow, I have had similar systems for about 10 years that were completely manual, I love the ability to set them up in my phone and shut them off if it’s raining and such, the only downside is that you have to use the app while in the house.

Perfect for rainwater systems and saving water.
I'm not sure why the other reviewer gave 1 star, perhaps Eden has upgraded their firmware... Either way I am very happy with this system. I had looked in vain for other moisture control systems and only found one from RainBird but it was way too expensive. The controls for the Eden system are entirely on my phone which is okay, though I'de also like buttons and a screen on the timer. The ability to control everything from moisture delay (similar to rain delay but better), eco-watering (allowing a pause for water to soak) and a choice of days of week or intervals is great. Multiple timers and valves can also be named and photographed in the app, which is fantastic! The eco-watering mode, which allows for an intermittent pauses for soaking, is great, saves A LOT of water which is handy if you're watering using limited rainwater like me. The moisture sensor accuracy is not quite as good as my Ecowitt weather station sensor, but definitely good enough for the task at hand.

Worked great, for a little while
Bought mine at the end of the watering season and it worked well for a couple of weeks then. Stored it inside per the instructions during the winter, reinstalled and I've enjoyed a month-ish of solid use. The last two weeks or so though, zone 2 has been working intermittently. After some troubleshooting there's no indication that anything is wrong except that the valve inside the device just doesn't open anymore. So that's cool. to be clear, zone 1 works great for now, and things that were attached to zone 2 work just as well on zone 2. there's no indication that anything except the device is failing. It's a shame because I really like that this device doesn't need the cloud to function.

Won't last forever...
I bought one of these four years ago. It's been great - until this year, when two of the four valves have quit working. Every year when I was done using it, I'd bring it in the house and drain it well, and store it indoors all winter. I can't afford a new one now...so I'm going to miss the automation.

Easy to use. Great for keeping plants watered.
Thing works great. Like the push button to turn a hose on for your manual use. It then shuts off after no water flows through it for a while. Nice feature. Only thing I am critical of is it's lack of mounting options. I used zip ties.

Me gusta el acabado de los materiales.
La rosca que va a la llave del agua es de mejor acabado, antes tenia uno de plástico y no duro más de dos años.
