Attracts a lot of birds, probably could make one at home if desired
I have seen hummingbirds in my yard pretty frequently this summer so I purchased this feeder to see if I could get a close up view. I was not disappointed.. The hummers discovered the feeder within a couple of hours of hanging it with the one remaining tube (see below) and there were consistent visits to the feeder throughout the day..even more than I thought I would get! Although it worked well and 15 bucks is not outrageous, the feeder does seem like it could be easily made for a fraction of the cost..It is made of only maybe a couple of feet of copper wire, 2 test tubes, 2 glass beads and a suction cup. I would also recommend making your own nectar rather than buying it. Just simply bring 4 parts water and one part sugar to a boil and let it cool before using it. I did that and the birds drank half the tube in one day.. One issue I did have is that upon opening the package today one of the nectar tubes and one of the dangling glass beads were broke in half. I did call the company right away however, and an actual person answered.. They are going to send me replacement parts free of charge.Update: I received the replacement parts within a week of contacting the company. Feeder still gets plenty of activity and I think it's worth the money if you don't want to try to make one.

This seller exhibited excellent customer service and a good product.
This seller is worth commending. I had an issue with a product and the issue was probably MY fault. I contacted the seller and explained. This seller took care of the issue with no further questions asked. On top of the good service the product is great!. What more could you ask for.

Hummers love it
It’s amazing to watch the hummingbirds so close up. The suction cup works well, but I check it to make sure it is secure when I refill the tubes. I highly recommend this window feeder. A bit pricey, but worth it.

The Birds Love it!
I spent time managing a wild bird store and got a chance to personally test and compare different feeders on the market. Of all the hummingbird feeder models I tested, two really stood out. You can see my review of the Best-1 line. These copper wire feeders from Songbird Essentials are actually the birds favorite in my garden. Given the choice, they go for the glass tubes with cherry-red caps and wire perches. Set up correctly, these feeders don't drip and are relatively easy to clean as long as you can find the right size bottle-brush for the vials. This is why I gave it 4 stars in this cagegory.I wasn't sure how to rate it in the other two categories because there is no actual suction involved in hummingbird feeders and sturdiness can't be rated so simply. If this feeder has a drawback it's that when the red caps inevitably wear out, they are devilishly hard to replace. I found them on Amazon listed by their part number but the price was $18.00 each! Songbird Essentials sells them on their website for about 70¢ each but listed them as currently unavailable.Specific to the window-mounted feeder, as with any suction-cup-mounted window feeders they are subject to come loose during drastic temperature changes but otherwise it performs its functions perfectly.

Fun to try but...
The hummingbirds seemed to love this little feeder--when it was full. Be sure to understand what size tubes you are buying; it was hard to keep full. They are quite small. One of the two glass beads split in half after I had it up for about a week. The bees bother this feeder because the nectar comes right to the end of the tubes where they can lap it right up. I was filling it up twice per day by using a pre filled "ketchup" like bottle that I kept in the fridge. The little perches are nice, but it wasn't always at the right angle for every hummingbird that visited. I will rely on the more traditional hummingbird feeders.

Hummer Feeder Works Perfectly
My hummingbirds love this feeder over any of my other feeders. And if you rinse the feeder off after each fill, the bees do not bother much because the opening is small and flat and they need to sit right on the hole to get any sugar water. Whereas on my other feeders, the bees can drink all they want much more easily. I have also had no ants find the feeder yet. It is easy to remove from the window and so far (1 month or so), it has not come off without me pulling it off. The copper wire lets you position it perfectly so the hummers can sit and drink. My only compliant is that you have to be diligent to fill it every few hours if your hummers drink often. The red caps are pretty tight fitting, so you need to twist them to get them off and it sometimes feels like I could break the glass tube in the process.Next year, I am going to get more of these and it seems like such a simple design that you should be able to create your own with a 1liter bottle and some tubing so you leave it unattended for a week or more.

Ok little feeder but not great
This feeder does attract the birds, but its just kind a pain the butt to deal with. The test tubes empty quickly so the birds can never quite get the last bit in the tube. The copper is twistable to an extent but can sag under weight of the tubes resulting in a weird angle. \Pro:Looks nice does get the birds close to the windowCon:Test tubes hard to fillhard for birds to drink from after a while of usewill leak fluid if end is pointed down making a mess under your window.

My favorite hummingbird feeder
I love everything about this feeder. It's practical and beautiful and highly attractive to our local hummingbirds. Within 12 hours of placing it, they were happily drinking away. The glass makes it easy to keep clean (and won't transfer any plastics or bacteria to the birds). I leave the suction cup attached to my window and find it simple to remove the test tubes to clean and refill. The birds usually make use of the resting-wire as they drink. 1/4 cup of sugar-water fills the four tubes -- I bought two of these feeders -- within 3/8" of the top. My old feeders used to hold 1/4 cup each and the birds could only reach the first 1/2 so I was always dumping it out. With these, as they drink it down I adjust the angle of the tubes so they get nearly all of it. My recipe is 1 part sugar, 4 parts water, boiled 1-2 minutes, then cooled. I would recommend this feeder to anyone wanting an up-close view of these magnificent little birds!
