Elite Rizer Interactive Gradient Simulator – Realistic Terrain and Steering for Enhanced Indoor Cycling

Works well in simulating uphill rides. Albeit it is an expensive upgrade to get that feeling. Unit is pretty responsive in terms of moving up and down but it still does not feel quite real. Has it helped my training? I would say barely. Has it increase my fun during rides? A most definite yes. if you mostly ride in the saddle as I do I think the benefits are quite small. If you like riding out of the saddle and really diggin in and pulling on the bars I would say this adds a nice new dimension to your cycling training. I mostly ride for endurance and weight loss and not so much to beat my buddies to the top of a KOM.

The Elite Rizer has a solid strong design, so I guess if you can make it work. It will work forever... however, the riding experience is nothing like the Wahoo Climb that when it works, it works great in Zwift.I paired it with a Kickr.v5, and only in manual mode worked properly... in Simulation mode (what you really want) was more of a ride annoyance than enhancement. The tilt was not accurate at all -just up and down all over the place with no logical pattern, and never shown a negative tilt. I did spend quite a bit of time manipulating the settings, and I measure the real frame tilt with an electronic level.I contacted customer support via e-mail -there is no support in the US. Your typical European based company: a pain in itself! They take their sweet time to replay with 24hr delay. All in all, a horrible experience for something I really wanted to make it work, so I am sending it back...

Cool for what it is. Expensive due to weight. I don’t use the steering on Zwift. That part just never did anything for me. Pointless steering but the climbing keeps me interested.
