The NOVA voyager DVR drill Press is the most versatile drill Press on the market, easily able to handle wood, metal, plastics and glass, making a truly cross functional machine.The DVR drill Press is the latest customized DVR application, designed to utilize a number of sensors to provide superior safety and preventive maintenance features. This powerful machine can drill wood, plastic, glass and metal and offers paramount user-friendliness. The DVR or digital variable reluctance is a switch reluctance motor with a unique electronic control. The electronic control utilizes a micro-processor for Constant monitoring of the motor and environmental conditions to adjust power and power to suit. It includes 50-5500rpm variable speed, 18" swing, 9" from Spindle center to Column. 6" quill stroke, 2MT quill taper, mechanical depth stop, digital quill depth readout, digital speed readout and control, dial knob for precise speed adjustment, forward and reverse. The voyager has precision machining, tight tolerances, good bearings and split head casings all providing a strong bedrock of accuracy. When you couple this with the intelligent monitoring and control of speed and power, this is one highly accurate drill Press. Comes with a 16 1/2"x 16 1/2" cast iron Table designed for woodworking, and has incredible software features such as intelligent speed selection, auto pilot hole function, tapping-assist function, electronic braking, load readout and self start. The onboard sensors for superior safety, use and maintenance include load sensors, depth sensors, vibration sensor, emergency stops. Using the unique DVR technology, the direct drive motor is incredibly smooth with No pulleys or belts to vibrate.
