I gave up looking for better checkers this size and bought a tournament size backgammon ...
I bought these 1 7/16 OD checkers to fit a board that I own that came with checkers that did not fit well. These fit well and looked OK but they were lightweight. And I mean extremely lightweight. They feel hollow. If I had paid $5 for them I would have thought you get what you pay for. But $30? I sent them back. I gave up looking for better checkers this size and bought a tournament size backgammon set.
