It wasn't as "grippy" as I was expecting it to be HOWEVER it is very comfortable under the rug. I actually wish they made this roll in the size of my rug! I have a tile floor so that extra cushion is great! If you're looking for the comfort, I suggest purchasing, like I said it doesn't have a super grip but it does the job I suppose

Used in bathroom with a runner and it usually holds it in place. Does the job for its price.

I specifically bought this based on reviews to hold a small area rug over my carpet in a high traffic area. It did nothing.
