these were ordered incorrectly for the wrong model year
Th search within Amazon provided a choice of these for the incorrect model year. It was an error on our behalf for not triple checking the order which was for a 2011 model year search

Check fitament
I guess I assumed the body style was the same for 14-18 but this was too long on the front side. Was able to sawzall while installed to cut a small portion off the front. Looks great and was easy to install. You can either install it with clips or drill.
