Brilliant and insightful.
Farah Pandith's diplomatic appointments to the West Wing in the Bush administration and then the Obama administration (under Secretary of State Hillary Clinton) indicate an international perspective that transcends party politics. Pandith's mission: proactively reach out to Moslem youth who may find themselves at a crossroads, and who may otherwise discover that, overwhelmingly, the groups most interested in them--the organizations offering a place of honor in their communities--are linked to extremist groups, which, to an alarming degree, are highly sophisticated in their ability to make contact with vulnerable youth. Their needs to be, writes Pandith, an equally sophisticated response, as well as a place for them in their community, leadership and resources, and signposting that point Moslem youth to a different path from that of extremist cults. Global in scope, HOW WE WIN is full of observations and insights from Pandith's tireless travels, as well as from her own life as a Muslim growing up in the United States.

INSIGHTFUL, ENGAGING, and ELOQUENT!
The struggle for identity is something we can ALL relate to. In her book, Farah brings us through the identity crisis muslims have faced in the aftermath of September 11th, 2001 and the years since. As we get farther and farther from that day, the challenges become more nuanced and complex but also so elegantly simple at the same time. Farah draws on her unparalleled experience as the first-ever diplomat of her kind to provide an unbridled and unbiased assessment of the challenges facing us AND an uplifting and uniting path forward. Keep an eye on her - you'll be hearing more from Farah Pandith!!

I wouldn't be surprised if this becomes part of the curriculum for the Harvard Business School; do your self a favor and read this book- you will open your mind, shift your paradigm and be ahead of the game.
