ZilberHaar Regular Beard Brush, Soft Boar Bristles, Men’s Grooming

I have waited a couple months before writing a review to see how well this brush has held up. I am happy to say that even after months of use, only two small bristles have come out and the brush is functioning very well. I am a female with medium length, fine hair with a medium volume and I purchased this beard brush because I wanted a travel sized boar bristle brush for my hair, as I do not have a beard. I switch over from using shampoo to baking soda & water (and occasionally a soap nut solution) and I was looking for a boar bristle brush because I read that it is better for managing no-poo (no shampoo) hair. I like this brush much better than my old nylon hairbrush. The craftsmanship is very nice and the handle feels comfortable to hold. If anyone is also shopping for this beard brush to use for your long hair, you just need to note that because it is small and meant for beards, you will have to brush your hair in sections. If you have very thick hair, it will take more work to use this brush (although maybe if I hadn’t gotten the smallest size, it might be a different experience). I bought the soft one, but if I were to do it all over again, I would have gotten one with firmer bristles. However, this one feels great as it goes across your scalp. It removes anything on the hair, from bits of dandruff to towel fibers. I would recommend purchasing a brush cleaning kit (with the little brushes) as it needs to be cleaned fairly frequently, since it picks everything off your hair. It is very easy to clean and if there is any buildup on the bristles, I just use a little soap & water and it’s like new.I should also add that as a beard brush, it also works very well. My husband has a beard and he says it feels nice as he brushes it across his beard. He never brushed his beard before I bought this brush, but the brush definitely makes his beard look nicer. It is nice that we can share one brush for multiple uses and just clean it in between. I would definitely recommend the ZilberHaar beard brush as a high quality, sustainable choice that is made in Germany. The packaging was also plastic-free. It seems like it will last a long time and I’m very happy with my purchase. It was worth the price.

Excellent beard brush! The soft boar bristles are perfect for distributing beard oil and taming flyaways without irritating skin. Helps straighten the beard and gives it a polished look. The wooden handle has a comfortable grip. Great quality German craftsmanship.

This is a great product. My hair is pretty thick and course; sometimes had a mind of it's own. And this brush has helped me immensely with keeping it groomed. I'm glad I went with the soft bristles. They are plenty stiff enough for my beard, even with my course hair. But they don't irritate my skin at all. Well worth the price.Adding a follow-up: I've now been using the product for about eight months; and I still love it and give it 5 stars. I'm really impressed with how well the product is constructed. I use it daily, sometimes multiple times in a day; and it still looks exactly like it did the day I received it in the mail. The bristles show no signs of wear whatsoever. I would agree with some reviews I've read: if you have a long thick beard, you will probably be happier with a larger brush with firmer bristles. But my beard is short-medium length, and I have somewhat sensitive skin. For me this is the perfect beard brush. Thanks for a great product, ZilberHaar!

Wonderful high quality brush. Some of the bristles do come out occasionally but not bad. I got the soft bristles and I'm glad I did, they are stiff and if I would brush for too long it would irritate my face. The handle seems small but it's perfect in use. I'm just pointing these things out to better inform anyone interested in buying one of these awesome brushes, I'm not negatively critiquing it. Works through my medium length beard right down to skin with ease. I love the wood handle and I would buy another one in a heartbeat.

I was curious as to how this , being that it looks small for the purpose , would work . And I could not be more satisfied after using it. It may seem on the small side for someone looking to use something but it works wonders for the need to style, detangle, and manage. I especially like the way(s) i detangles and shapes. Working along side a quality comb to work through the beard , this will help tremendously in the long-run. Make and construction of the brush is high quality. No cheap plastics or bristle. This is essential when looking for something that will help. You need this to help . Don't skimp on finding something for this particular need. This is one of those times you look to splurge. Do it. Your beard will thank me later...

The right size, doesn't feel like a doll brush like a few others I've tried. Great quality, and well made. Does the job. Great value for money. Doesn't shed the hairs.

C’est ma première brosse à barbe donc je peux pas vraiment comparer avec d’autres, j’ai voulu en acheter une de très bonne qualité pour pas être déçu et je suis pas déçu, j’ai pas de chance j’ai la peau très sensible malgré avoir pris poil souple elle est quand même assez rigide et des fois ça me laisse la peau rouge un peu irrité. Sinon à part ça je recommande on sent quand même la qualité. Le prix est un peu chère quand même il aurait pu rajouter un peigne ou une petite pochette de rangement.
