The best
The complaints and remarks about small portable TVs like this were all much the same (and when did a 19 inch tv become a small tv?) They all had iffy pictures and sound ranging from tinny to terrible. The Jenson is incredible, exceptional pictures, very good sound. Yes, it is a pain to set up. It is made to use as a wall mount, it does not come with any kind of stand or a power source (any way to plug it in but once I bought the power thingie recommended and found a good stand it is good(ok, it took me 4 tries but in the end, the first one I got was the best).despite all, a great TV and very portable.

Do Not Waste Your Money
This TV is trash. The picture quality sucks and it doesn’t get very loud. I’m not trying to pretend I’m in the movie theatre, but at least loud enough to hear it over the generator would be nice. It only works for about 20 minutes and then it goes black and loses sound. Even if the picture returns, the sound doesn’t. It turns out we don’t even watch TV without the generator, so we don’t need a 12v. We’ll be getting a regular TV instead. If I could still return this I would.

Great TV for Boating
Great upgrade on for my little boat.. The included wiring is 12v ready, simply wire it to your power source (battery or fuse panel), or like me, I added a cigarette lighter adapter I obtained from my local autoparts store. I use the TV for over the air broadcasts while boating, and the build in tuner was easy to set up. I also use it as a second monitor for my laptop when working from the water. The sound is pretty good, although it is not going to blast you out of the room. The picture is fantastic, as I would expect for an LED/LCD. For me, with limited mounting space, it replaced the old 15in 4:3 format LCD, without moving the mount. Best of all, it takes a beating on the water (so far), with no ill effects.

Performs as described.
The remote is overly complicated for too many additional devices.Power consumption is moderate.Sound is only acceptable with personal tuning.Whatever OTA broadcast is, it reproduces a fine picture. The ATEC turner receives many more channels than the Samson it replaced. This appliance is in my camper at the deer camp over 50 line of sight miles from Nashville. It is on a hand made *Ultimate” antenna from GA highly recommended for OTA signal reception.

Remote control is almost as big as the TV!
19 " TV is perfect size for my ProMaster build out. Can't be beat in a 12v class. Very low power consumption. The one complaint I have is the remote control is Huge! Because it has all the functions for DVD, which still has too many buttons you'll never use, there should be a downsized version if you opt for the model without the DVD! Way to big for smaller rigs. The main functions are clumsy and should be simplified!

2 units both had same sound problem
Any throughput audio would drop out when sound level was below a certain threshold. When watching a move and the sound track becomes quiet, the audio would shot off, sometimes for half a second, sometimes for many seconds. I returned the first unit, but the replacement unit was the same. I liked the size and the picture quality, so I came up with this work around: I used an HDMI audio splitter box to isolate the audio, then sent that signal through a small headphone amp, finally the audio was played through a soundbar. The whole works is attached to the back of the TV and powered through the TV so there is only one (12 volt) power connection.

Perfect for my Skoolie Project!
I looked at a lot of 12 volt TV's and this 19" unit is made for RV's and it works great and has a nice picture. The sound quality is not great but decent enough on a quiet night in the school bus conversion I am using it in. The USB port powers my amplified antenna and it's mounted on an articulating arm. The audio/video jacks allow me to listen to the TV through my stereo system, so sound is not an issue either way.
