This snazzy little LEZII-IPX7 portable speaker will be your best music companion indoors and out whenever you go. It talks as you learn. Lay the speaker on your pillow at night for quiet listening. In the morning take it in the shower – Its waterproof and voltage safe (5 V). The sound quality from this compact 10 oz speaker is impressive for its size (3 ½”x3 ½” x 1 ¾”). It tucks neatly away for traveling (hiking, biking, auto). In an open room turn up the volume to hear what the LEZII can do (You can reduce distortion by lowering the volume). Bluetooth makes your phone hands-free (listening/talking). I have tested for sound breakup at distances up to 100 ft (no obstructions). This distance is reduced indoors to 20-30 ft by walls. Using free apps from Google Play (examples, VRadio and Radio FM AM), one can search out large assortments of music and different genres from hundreds of stations around the world (USA, France, Sweden, Germany and cities such as NY, Paris, Frankfurt, Madrid, London). The speaker offers unusual versatility with 3 audio playback modes: Built in FM Radio; TF Card MicroSD (MP3 files); Aux-IN plug (cable input from a CD player/car radio). For example, if you’ve wanted to learn another language you can use the TF Card to play a language program with high quality sound. One can save music stations using Favorites (VRADIO and Radio FM AM). To save the current music station; click once to save it and again to remove. You can also record from a CD player or car radio with a cable attached to AUX-IN. You can record music from your phone by downloading an app from PlayStore (if not already installed).LEZII Features - Once paired the speaker is controlled by 3 buttons on the case; Power on/off, Tuning, and Volume. Press the middle button (Compound key) to answer your phone. For off-road walking, hiking, biking), the speaker is dustproof and shockproof (built solid). The Mountaineering buckle clips the speaker to a bed railing or your backpack. The LEZII speaker provides 3 (or 6) Watts of stereo power by adding a second speaker (TWS wireless function). It has an excellent battery life (8-12 hours) and charges in 2- 3 hours with your computer using the included usb cable (red light goes off when fully charged). It can also be charged by purchasing a 120 VAC usb wall charger (5 VDC batt).Operating the LEZII Speaker (It Speaks To You!) Once your smart phone and LEZII speaker are Bluetooth-paired (below), power it on by pressing and holding the middle (2nd) button for 2 seconds…You hear “Bluetooth mount”. Double pressing the same button repeatedly cycles the speaker through its 3 audio modes speaking these words: (“FM MOUNT”) play built in FM radio; (“PLAYBACK TF CARD”) plays MicroSD card (MP3 files) from presorted folders; (“AUX MOUNT”) plays only if connected to device (CD player, car radio). To scan the FM radio (strongest stations first), long click (hold down) the (+) volume button…again for next FM station. To power the speaker on/off, long click the middle button for 2 seconds. The Speaker volume is controlled by both the LEZII Speaker volume control (+ -) and your phone volume control as operating in series (either lowers/raises speaker volume).Pairing LEZII Speaker Press the middle (2nd) button on LEZII speaker for two seconds and the message “Bluetooth Mount” is heard. Now on your smart phone click Settings, then Connections…click the Bluetooth switch on… hit the Bluetooth-on area…see scanning for Bluetooth devices …see 2 Bluetooth device(s) found... then available devices. Click BT525-FM (or BT525) and click yes for pairing(?)...shows paired devices BT525-FM for Call audio (phone) and Media audio (FM)…done Voila! Playing good quality FM stations will highlight the LEZII Speaker… compare it to your phone…Wow What a Difference! If pairing fails, repeat steps 1 and 2 taking care to allow extra time between steps 1 and 2. If you lose FM signal it will revert to your smart phone – restart the LEZII by powering it back on (or also restarting your phone). Once paired, the LEZII speaker will reconnect to your last setting (eg. FM Radio) when powered on.Speaker Issues: (a) Some problems like sudden loss of sound are simply resolved by powering the speaker back on: Press and hold the middle (2nd) button for 2 seconds…hear “Bluetooth mount”; (b) How can I get AM radio?...Ans, download app like Radio FM AM to your smart phone; (c) Cycling Modes: Note that cycling through the audio modes (see Operating LEZII Speaker - above) picks up where you left off (does not start over) (d) Hearing two stations at the same time. This can happen if Bluetooth and AUX-IN are both connected. To fix disconnect one input as follows: (1) remove plug from AUX-IN; (2) turn off Bluetooth; (3) turn off the radio source from your phone (If an unwanted station is playing it shows at the bottom of your phone screen (eg. VRADIO shows Song Title). Click the solid square (in circle) to silence it; or click again (triangle) to activate sound. If signal (sound) if lost from the LEZII Speaker – restart the speaker and check that your smart phone is providing signal. The procedures I have used in this review are for Android Samsung S-7 smart phone. Details may vary between phones (eg. pairing). Happy Radio!

I can't say enough good about this speaker. Here's why we love it.PROS 1. Bluetooth AND aux/headphone jack. YES! Thank you! 2. It has great volume! Great! And the sound quality is really clear, well balanced, and full :). 4. If you need surround sound it can pair with the phone as well as another of these speakers. 3. Small but not awkwardly small, easy to handle. Clips with included caribiner to backpack. 4. Sturdy! Shock proof, water resistant etc. It feels really well made. 5. Easy. I plugged the charger/USB cable into the computer and turned it right on to use while it charges. 6. Best of all it's less than $10 for all of this. We had a pair of $50 computer/aux speakers that this kicked to the curb. Literally. We just threw them away and only kept the AUX chord. Because this is better in every single way, and works GREAT for a computer speaker :) 7. It DOES have FM radio (see update/instrucitons below) which works okay, depending on your reception in your area. 8. It plays from a micro SD card :) (see update/instructions below)Considerations: 1. The charger/USB cable is short. Just long enough to reach the floor from a wall plug. I like that personally but not everyone will. Also no wall plug/USB adapter included, you'll have to plug it into a USB or share with your cell phone plug/adapter.Also, it came with a card in the box saying that if we submit a review (doesn't say it has to be positive) within 30 days they'll send us a second speaker. Then we can play Christmas music all over the house from the same player... for less than $10. This company is the best!Update after more use: It DOES have an FM radio. Here's how it works. You turn the speaker on by pressing and holding the power button. It'll probably say "bluetooth mode" when it turns on. Wait. Then double press the same button. It'll say a different mode, probably "AUX mode" if you have a 2-line 3mm chord plugged in, like the one we have running to the computer. Wait. Double click the button again and it should say "FM mode." You got it. Hold the volume up and down buttons to scan for stations. It works :). Sometimes it gets into scan mode and I'll have to backtrack to the one I want. It works :). If when you double press the buttons it says "power off" your held the button too long. Try again once it's back on but a bit faster. Good luck.Also. It DOES play a TF/microSD card. I just did it. I got a 32 Gb one because I wasn't sure if it had a capacity range. Take a microSD card adapter (we got the ANKER one that's about $10 here on amazon), pop in the micro SD card and put the music on it (we used windows media player). Eject the microSDc card adapter/reader and put it into your speaker. Double click the power button to change the mode until it says "Play from TF card mode." Great. Hold and press the volume buttons to skip forward or backward. If you're skipping songs instead and want to only skip playlists just put it one more folder deep, then you'll only skip playlists, but it'll play the songs in each list. This is really great. We are using it for my son who has trouble sleeping to play music for him at night. Using the SD card means that we don't have to run down batteries on another device and it's not easy to really mess with and derail. This is a great speaker. Hope y'all like it as well as I do. I was very happy with the LEZII speaker. Most importantly, this bluetooth speaker's FM RADIO WILL WORK GREAT ON ITS OWN WITHOUT HAVING TO ATTACH A CHARGING CABLE TO IT. Attaching the long charging cable for radio exposes the connectors and opens a pathway for water (thus compromising the water resistance).Unfortunately I've used at least one other Bluetooth speaker which requires a charging cable to be attached to receive FM radio, else the FM radio is unusable. I've also looked at lists of "Best Bluetooth Speakers with FM radios", and user reviews have similarly mentioned the need to attach a charging cable and open up the connections.In short, this standalone speaker has really good FM radio reception on its own, and doesn't need any cable to be attached to the connectors for usable FM radio. If outdoors / wet environment FM radio is needed while preserving IPXX (for waterproof requirements), this speaker certainly meets that need.Other comments:- After I figured out how to setup for FM radio (auto-search - manual instructions :) ), I was up and running.- It's a very well-built speaker yet compact and lasts a very long time.- Most important thing is, FM radio feature is very important for me especially outdoors or in areas where I may not have a wifi for internet radio.- Unfortunately, after 6 months, the micro-USB C jack receded and I couldn't charge the speaker anymore.- I contacted the vendor and the matter was resolved to my satisfaction.
