Love this brand
I am a big fan of this brand. This was my first time using the mascara and although I don't LOVE it, i do like it a heck of a lot more than the last few mascara's I've tried. It is very lightweight, goes on easy no clumps, make my lashes look great...but i find that when putting it on it splatters just a little so i get a few black dots in the lids or under the eye. Easy to wipe off, but still, hate when that happens. Overall I like it though.

Not bad! Will most likely purchase again.
I am in Make Up Artist and I have tried many many mascaras. On my self and other people and I was looking for something with less chemicals in it. I’ve tried other brands and they all suck. Honest beauty not good. Well the people not good this is the only one that I’ve actually seen, that is he EWG approved and curled my lashes. This was just straight from the box to my lashes and I really do like it will probably purchase again.

It's decent. Will continue using this long term.
I bought this because I like Mineral Fusion's other products and I was having bad eye reactions to typical drugstore mascaras from time to time.I'll admit, this one doesn't work quite as well as the drugstore mascaras. I had high expectations because the pressed powder from Mineral Fusion is so unbelievably amazing. However, it's slightly easier to remove and, most importantly, I don't have an allergic reaction to it. It's not the perfect mascara but I'd say it's good enough to make me happy. I'd buy it again for sure.

A little too dry, color too water soluble
I purchased this in the hopes it would be a good replacement for my beloved, discontinued Pacifica Deep blue mascara. Unfortunately, I was not wowed. What I like:* It gives great volume and coverage when it isn’t too dry.* It is a nice, midnight blueWhat I don’t like:* The blue color runs easily. I definitely would not be able to wear this in the pool (the Pacifica was water resistant and I was able to wear in the pool)* It dries out quickly. My Pacifica was easily rehydrated with saline. This one didn’t really seem to like the saline as well. I am using glycerine to help prolong use but it hasn’t seemed ideal either.* As it dries out, the application is more flakyI will probably purchase once more to see if I can work out the dryness issue since the price is reasonable and I like the volume it gives. But I’m far from excited by this product. I’ll probably have to rotate it with another brand/color. I wish Burt’s Bees had a midnight blue, because I have like their mascara better than this one.

Did not deliver in volume, length, or deep black color, so pass!
Summary: Don't buy this, it's not worth it if you like the make the most out of your lashes. I gave this 2 stars b/c of the less toxic ingredients than traditional mascaras and b/c it didn't clump on me and provided very natural color and definition.Ok first off, I am a mascara junkie and have tried at this point in my life well over 100 mascaras over the course of wearing makeup for 25 years. I try drugstore, high end - you name it. Also, I am a freelance makeup artist so not a newbie to mascaras or how mascaras work on lashes other than my own. (I am a newbie to 'natural' mascaras though, having only tried an organic Physicians Formula mascara years ago). I say this first because with reviews, sometimes it's hard to gauge that reviewer's perspective and experience. For example, if they've only ever used 3 mascaras in their lifetime, this might very well be the 'most amazing mascara I've ever used! Tremendous volume!' That kind of review doesn't give me the right context, nor does it help me make a decision on a purchase.Ultimately this mascara is a huge let down - it did not deliver volume, length, or a deep black color. I bought it off Amazon in the 'Jet' color which is an average black. It's not truly 'jet' black at all. Not compared to other traditional formulas that use color phrases like "blackest black" or "black noir" or "extreme black"...you know what I mean. This would compare to a mascara that claims a color like 'soft black'. I expected more after reading some of the reviews online that talked about 'great volume!', etc (both on Amazon and the Mineral Fusion website). I personally have very long and fairly thick lashes, but they are blonde. So with mascara I want one that makes a huge impact with one coat that I can easily build to 2 or 3 coats, or else I'm moving on. This mascara at least gave me zero clumps, and a bit of definition. But I could not get it to build, and that is honestly something I'm extremely good at doing. I can use any mascara you give me and make it work - I can take up to several minutes of makeup time just on lashes. This one just wouldn't do anything. Coat 3 looked the same as Coat 1...not worth it! I ended up topping it with Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Lashes every time to finally get it to build.I will have to make myself try it alone (and live with crappy lashes that day lol) and wear it throughout the day and update this review on whether it flakes and smudges on me. I will also update this review and include pictures of this mascara alone vs my typical mascaras so you can get an idea of what I want/expect my mascara to do vs. what this one does.I will use it throughout it's 3 month life (if it doesn't dry out before then) and also update on longevity of the formula. Reviews are all over the place with this - some are adamant it's a dry formula, some claim it's extremely wet (are people really that different of opinion, or is quality so all over the place with formula/freshness??). I would describe my new tube as completely middle of the road, it's neither wet nor dry. In my experience, this means the formula will dry out much too quickly to last it's 3 month life. (For that reason and others, I prefer a wetter formula myself). If any of you out there are complaining about the mascara not lasting more than several months, just remember mascaras aren't meant to last longer than 3 months (because they will eventually get contaminated with bacteria and/or dry out - so toss them). So again bottom line - pass on this one. The only circumstances where I'd recommend it are if you want an extremely natural looking mascara that provides an average black color.

Terrible allergic reaction
I'm not sure if the formula has changed or if it's me but this most recent tube of mascara caused a terrible allergic reaction that caused my eyes to swell and itch for a week. I thought it may have been environmental, so when I tried the mascara again, it caused the same reaction. Just be aware it's possible to have a reaction to makeup you've worn before, even if it is one of the better choices.

Disappointed
It's messy and my eyelashes don't look any different when applied.

Lash thickening
Works great, love that it’s EWG approved!

Great non-toxic mascara
I purchased this mascara as it comes up as a non-toxic option. This is my 2nd time buying it. It goes on easily and it looks great. It isn't waterproof though so look elsewhere for a waterproof option. Love this mascara!

No vale la pena.
Es de los pocos productos que he comprado aquí en Amazon que no valen la pena la verdad. La máscara de pestañas viene completamente seca yo he tenido que poner tres gotas de hidratación ocular para poder usarlo. No lo recomiendo.

Did not withstand the day.
I like most Mineral Fusion products but this mascara has been disappointing. It does not hold a lash curl and most of the product is gone (2 coats) by the end of the day. I do appreciate the volume this mascara gives me upon application.

Amazing alternative to waterproof
I usually wear waterproof mascara as I have allergies and weepy eyes. If i don't, the streaks are an eventuality. But since most waterproof brands have been known to have "forever chemicals" in them I decided to change to a "healthier" alternative. I researched mineral fusions as one of those healthier alternatives, and despite it being 2x the cost of my regular mascara, I decided to give it a try.Glad I did! It lasts ALL DAY, with miniml streaking (i'd have to be crying/rubbing), and the quality is fantastic, it goes on great and looks way better than the crap I was using before. Now I want to buy more from this line!
