Steamer pan is very useful
I brought this Oster renewed 0.6 rice cooker for a relative who is a single person.Small rice cooker with a steamer pan makes this rice cooker very unique.Though it is renewed one it has very small scratch marks but works satisfactory. Only one complain is that the plastic spatula is missing which must be in the box.If company arrange the spatula for me I will be grateful.

Es fácil de usar una vez que vimos el video en internet. Sólo se pone el arroz y el agua y se cocina sólo. El arroz se cocinó con la consistencia perfecta y buen sabor.

Oster 6 cup rice cooker-THE BEST
I just HAD to comment on this little rice cooker! The footprint is small. Perfect for small spaces with little storage. HOWEVER, this rice cooker makes EXCELLENT rice! I made the 6 cups cooked max rice and it could not have turned out any better!! Plus, no overflow, no burnt rice, no sticky pan. It also took no longer (30 minutes) than rice on the stove took, and with none of the mess!! Tips: 1. Rinse rice with cold water til water runs mostly clear before adding to pot. Use the cup enclosed with your cooker to measure out the rice-NOT a usual U.S. measuring cup. There is quite a difference in size. Once rice is in pot, add water to water line on side of inner pot. Top with a small pat of margarine or butter, or a tsp. of oil. Mix gently. top with lid and hit the "on" button. When rice is done, it will automatically go to "warm" cycle. Leave for about 10 minutes. Then...ENJOY!! Unplug to cut off cooker. Great little machine that makes a HUGE amount of rice!! Very pleased with quality of machine and rice produced by this machine. Priced so well. Give it a try-you will love it!

Do not buy in EU!
Amazon Germany is selling in European Union this American product constructed to work with 120 V outlets. If you overlook this, you will end up with overpriced unusable cooker, which you perhaps can use for spare parts with your old cooker :-) I was advised that it costs 20+ USD in USA. in EU they sell it for almost 100 EUR, shipping included. And even if you accept that, you still cannot use it.
