Minn Kota Prop - Weedless Wedge 2 / MKP-32

This fits most Minkota troll motors .Fishermen, if you want a weedless, a faster prop get this one. I installed it on my troll motor and improve performance all around. It fits most 2 1/2 inch troll motors

Perfect fit, works well, easy to replace.

These are easily breakable as they are plastic but super easy to replace and works fine.

I had a lot of problems confirming if this prop, the MKP-32, would fit my Endura Max 40 trolling motor. My motor is 3 1/4" in diameter, but the packaging for the prop says it's for 3 5/8" motors. I did call Minnkota and they confirmed that this prop will fit my trolling motor, so I went ahead and ordered it. Here's the deal... The prop will fit just like the factory prop when installing on the 3 5/8" motors. The little lip on the prop fits 'inside' the motor housing. When installing on the 3 1/4" motors, the lip of the prop fits 'over' the motor housing. When I first installed it, it was rubbing a little on the motor housing. I did a little light sanding inside the prop cylinder and that fixed the problem. I ran it outside of water and it seems to run very smoothly. I'll test it on the water next week but I expect it to be fine. Also, this prop is a LOT larger in diameter than the stock one so I expect it will be faster than the original prop. It also has the little bent wings on the edge of the blades which I understand is supposed to help make it more weedless. We'll see.

Note: I installed this on a 45lb thrust Minnkota Edge.Pros:This thing is night and day difference above the factory prop in weeds and grass. Cuts right through even when not at full power.Cons:Initial fit is snug over the motor housing (it will slide over the motor housing rather than butt up against it) Will either need to sand down the paint on motor housing, or install the prop and run it to let it wear in. I went that route, and it worked fine, but beware it will be quite loud until it wears in.Either the size and weight of this prop, or the difference in blade design results in significantly less power than the original prop.
