If you compare the numbers in Vice testing combined with the advertised 95mph swing driver spin, Tour is longer than Pro, but that's usually the case with a lower spinning ball. Someone at the corporate probably noticed this so to promote the Pro - higher priced, there are many more pretty finishes offered. I'm sticking to these for now. I was playing a Titleist Tru Feel, and the Vice Tour is definitely a longer ball. I am a 6'4" 235 lbs, and a 9.5 handicap. On average I drive the ball 260-290 yds with my old 9.5 degree Taylormade Burner. Two days ago I drove it 315! Longest drive ever right down the middle. On hole 18 my third shot on a par 5, I hit a 9i from the rough about 140 yards out. When I struck the ball, the flight pattern was way off from my normal pattern, but still hit the far edge of the green, about 40' from the hole. I thought I just shanked it, but when I got up to my ball, I saw the slice in the cover! WHAT?? Looks like it was run over by a mower. I cannot believe this. My first thought is that is a defective ball, as I didn't have any other issues on any previous holes. I even commented on how they are more durable than the Tru Feel. I still like the ball a lot, and will continue to play it.
