Well illustrated, well written and UPDATED.

Since the whole realm of electricity is something that scares me, I bought this manual to try to overcome unnecessary fears and help me better understand what I am paying experts to do for me. Good stuff. Very useful.

Great book. Lots of examples. Great picture. Awesome Electrical Code references.I actually learned to do electrical work around the house from this book--and SparkyChannel on YouTube.Good luck!And...always, always, always check that wire before working--even if you know the breaker is off!(I had a switch and an outlet right next each other that went to two different breakers!!)

This is an American book. Why on earth would you sell it on UK amazon without clearly labelling it as not fit for purpose in the market place in which it is being sold?!
