Excellent performance - Top class card
I'm a learning photographer and I got this for my new D5000. I am very impressed by the speed of the card which I think is the most important factor. In that respect this is awesome. I usually take 3 EV bracketed shots for hdr and the card is so fast that it take the shots consecutively.8gb is pretty good for me. This can hold about 500 photos. I carry this at most for a 3 day trip. I may soon have to buy another 8 or 4 gb.Overall great product, may be a little pricey but totally worth it.

Works in standard SD devices also.
I recently purchased a Nikon D3100 and needed a larger capacity SD card. But in addition to large capacity, I also wanted a fast card (SDHC) that would be backwards compatible with my existing SD card readers. I post photos while on the road and my HP Mini netbook with built-in SD card reader would need to be able to recognize the new card. When I received the Lexar Platinum II 8GB, I placed it in the Nikon, gave it a quick format and shot some photos. Works perfect. Then on to the HP Mini - no problem opening the photos. In addition, it also works in a USB to SD card reader I inserted in my desktop. So, this SD card from Lexar provides the capacity and speed I need for my camera, while also being backwards compatible in my other SD readers.

Good value
I boutght it with the camera and I was looking for a good value. There it is. But the camera was a tad slower than I expected. As both are new, I don't know who to blame. Nevertheless, there were no failures and all the pictures came out ok. Most people would need more space, though. But otherwise this card is highly recommended mainly due to very good value for money.

Oh-My-God-I-Love-This-Card-So-Much! (...yeah)
Every Lexar card that I have purchased to-date has been of stellar quality in both construction and use. I have never, not once, had corrupted data on one of thee cards. I own two Lexar High Speed MicroSDHC 32 GB Class 10 Flash Memory Card with Reader LSDMI32GBSBNAR and two of these cards. This card took my Nikon D80 and made it so that I could shoot continuously for what seems like an eternity, on RAW mode. I shoot a lot of images, but this card made it almost impossible to run out of space in an average session. With my D80, set to RAW, this card holds 2500 images. It held quite a lot on the D300 that I rented a while back, too. Thus far, I've had nothing but great luck with Lexar. In fact, the only other card manufacturer that I recommend is Sandisk, and only their top-level cards. Lexar might be more expensive than a lot of other card-makes, but the cost-difference has been well worth it to me.Needless to say, the card is fast. I actually plan to get a USB 3.0 upgrade card for my PC to take full advantage of this card's read-write speeds.

Works Perfectly in My Kodak PlaySport Zx3
I wanted a card for my PlaySport that would give me decent quality for playback and an acceptable length of recording. After researching and finding that Lexar makes the SDHC cards that Kodak markets, I settled on the Lexar Platinum II, 16GB, Class 10. It has not disappointed. Playback is good, recording time is about two hours, and no problems formatting it to the recorder. I recently purchased a second one as back-up;which is a Class 6; but should be sufficient for my needs. I considered a 32 GB card but don't think any of my friends or family would be interested in watching that much video.

Good enough for a high rating
I purchased this with and for the Nikon S8100...it works like a champ....While I am not a super sophisticated photographer I think I can tell about the quality of this camera "engine" . It is priced well, started right up on it's own, fits properly, seems very fast to me and will hold far more that I would need on an average day.....If it is supposed to do something else I am unaware of it.....I like it..

Great for HD camcorders
I bought this SD card for a Canon HF M300 HD camcorder. The card is amazing and works great. Being a card with a speed class 6 rating it has the write speed to film HD video at the highest quality--1080p. My only problem was with the amount of time it took to get the card. I assume the seller has direct control over when it ships but it took almost a week to arrive--very slow when compared to other online businesses.

Corrupted files on my Nikon D5100
I was taking photos in RAW (about 20 MB per picture) and after looking at the photos the following day, I found that half of them were corrupted and were unviewable on my Nikon DSLR. I dumped the photos unto my harddrive and found that the same issue occurred and many photos were unable to be transferred from the memory card to my hard drive. This happened on my first use of the memory card and I highly doubt I damaged it within the first hour of inserting the memory card into my Nikon and the first time I used the card to take pictures. I would recommend SanDisk or another brand instead. Definitely not the best use of $60.
