THE BEST PICKS FOR CLASSIC ROCK-ALL types a Metal
these are great- grips typical of that type- I need these they last long and are not very flexable but thats y they ate great, I like the sound I hear it, feal is good the pick seems to be just right for semi to fast rock of fast playing- most really good so called shredder types get thiker picks as u prob know, these have that feel to them like the hit the string and give the tone a slight change

Amazing pick
I'm fairly new to guitar, I've been playing for less than a year, but I decided to experiment and buy a bunch of different picks to see how they sound. And I have to say this is the best sounding one I've picked up so far! The thick version (1.14) sounds amazing for high notes, they're crisp yet warm and full sounding at the same time, it's pretty amazing. With a lot of other picks the highs sound too harsh, with these they sound awesome. The 1.14 is amazing for generating a rich and clear tone with any single-note picking. One downside is I would say they're not the best for strumming, because these picks definitely dig into the strings more than a slippery pick like the fender 351 picks. Those are better for strumming, but these are FAR superior for anything where you're picking single notes. However when you strum the higher strings it does create a unique percussive sound, a bit like a xylophone. So it could be cool if you're going for that.

Easy to grip, impossible to break, snappy feel
If you want a snappy, crisp pock that wears like iron and is easy to hold onto, this is a good choice. I have been using Tortex picks for many years but the last few times I bought them they have had a powdery texture I do not like. I tried the Primetone picks and enjoyed the feel but not the beveled edges they brag about. (Why buy picks that are pre-worn??) These are the "Goldilocks" compromise: smooth, grippy texture like the Primetones, same shape as the Tortex. Now if only I could find them in an even thicker size...

Probably the best cheap pick on the market
Dunlop Ultex 1.14mm picks are probably the best cheap pick on the market. Minimal flex, the shape is right to get the best done, and they are just the right thickness where they work for strumming and bluegrass equally well.

Good sound and feel
The best picks to get are Blue Chip picks. But at around $35 each you need some backups. These are the next best thing. They don't sound bad like nylon and plastic picks. They have a good feel to them and wear well. Blue Chip picks will last forever if you don't lose them. Players should pay a lot more attention to the sound quality their pick produces and these Dunlop picks do a good job at that.

Very nice pick
Oh Man these feel great and sound great. I have generally used a lot of medium i.e 88mm type picks but these are smooth in their contact with the strings and nice and stiff or firm with no flex and are moderately sharp and smaller than most but not too small like a jazz pick. I like them and as I am planning to learn metal and shredding I think I will like these Ultex and they come highly recommended

A strumming/picking staple of my flavor for many years now.
I like the tone shaping that Ultex provides. They give me a more rounded sound, and not quite as sharp of an attack as some other thick pic offerings. Ive been using Dunlop Ultex pics (not exclusively) for 20+ years now. These are great for heavy rock & metal rhythm riffs if you want to cut down on the "tearing paper sound". I quite enjoy the .73 on acoustics as well, FWIW.

Superior in every respect except I want a donkey!
Love it but want the donkey version, no thanks to Donald, Ted, Jeb or Marco. Fabulous shape, feel, point, weight, flex, holdability, tone. Maybe the second fastest of all the picks I've used (after the Jazz Ultex III's), you're gonna love the control and how fast you forget where the point is.

Me gustaron mucho
