Like another reviewer, I received a 65%/35% cotton/polyester blend hat. Total Dollar Store product.I've contacted the seller, hopefully it's an honest mix up and I'll quickly receive the correct hat. If so, I'll revise the review accordingly. Until then, buyer beware.

Why on earth does this product say 100% merino wool? The product I recieved clearly says 65% cotton, 35% polyester. This is false advertising and a clear scam. DO NOT BUY!

I bought the beanie as a base layer for my trip to the Arctic Circle and I wore every day it was extremely warm and I was able to wear just this at certain points and about -35 while I was working outside I would recommend more layers at temperatures that go below that But it was great for my purposes

Very pleased with this hat. I work outside in the northern Midwest and I'm out in the worst of elements. Unlike my last merino hat, this one is cut very generously and fully covers my ears and back of neck. It is stretchy enough that I don't have to keep adjusting it, it stays in place. I have zero complaints about this hat, very warm, I don't feel wind.

If you wear beanies, this is the one you are looking for. Very soft and comfortable with just the right amount of elasticity.
