This is a heavy duty harness strap that gets a bit bulky
The small size is a bit too big and the loose parts can be reached by my dog's teeth. So I am hoping as it gets snug when he grows that he will not be able to reach the chest strap. For now, he can't wear it without supervision or he will bite through the harness straps.

Like a completely different puppy.
My Aussie is 20” - 22” in girth and so I ordered a small. I probably could have fit an extra small but the small works tightened all the way I can. The velour lining on the belly strap is really nice. However, the real reason I am writing this review is ever since we started walking our 10 month old pup she has furiously pulled and to the point where she was gasping for breath by the time we arrived back home. I tried a Halti and thought about a collar but I really didn’t want her pulling on her throat. I researched and sought all kinds of advice from all the “experts”. Nothing I did stopped the pulling. Until I put this harness on. This thing is well worth the cost and then some. We had, today, for the first time ever a nice stroll with no pulling whatsoever. It was like I had a new puppy. Now, I didn’t use the leash that came with it because she just wanted to chew on that so I hooked her regular leash to the D ring under her chin. At first she tried to chew it a bit but quickly learned that it was pointless. Halfway down the block she was walking perfectly by my side on a loose leash. Heaven.Thank you for this harness. And my shoulder thanks you. XD

It seems to be very well made
It looks like a good, sturdy product, but the sizing was way off. It was far too big so I didn’t get a chance to try it before sending it back.

Small is quite large.
I had measured my dog and she's 21-22" wide around the chest. I have a medium in another brand which is still too big when tightened as much as it can be. After reading the description of this harness my dogs size would be a small but loosened up as much as possible... To my surprise it's the opposite I had to tighten it as much as possible around chest and the front adjusted small aswell. My dog is a 6 mo. medium sized lab/pit/shepherd mix so maybe it's just difficult to find one for such a lean body type. I literally opened it 20 mins ago and adjusted and put it on than went for a walk around the block. Of course today she didn't see any rabbits etc so didn't pull, although even the small amount of tugging from a pup learning to walk(behaved) was decreased. Another note is the leash was the 1" as stated on listing but the harness wasn't the 5/8" it actually came with a 1". I'm happy for this error as she is a medium height dog who has some strength in pulling so was afraid the adjustments would loosen on 5/8" As for the color I really like it and now people tend to know my pup is a female. After using this harness for awhile I'm impressed it has helped more than our other front lead harness off amz. The leash is shorter but that is kind of the point to get our dog to walk beside us and not pulling infront, the leash is rather thin but I'm used to double ply webbing. Our pup has literally cut half way through the leash with a single bite... So I might have to make up my own leash out of some rope with a hook on both ends.

Not durable
Our puppy is 12 weeks and destroyed this in 1 week. The size was not as stated so we had to wait for it to fit. Would not purchase again....waste of money.
