Cablz Monoz Eyewear Retainer with Rubber End

I've been using the normal neoprene style holders for my Oakley's for years. The problem is that one end can slip off easy and allow the glasses to fall off and hit the ground. These new Cablz are outstanding. I've been using them for a couple months now and they've never let me down. The only part that took getting used to was when wearing the classes the cable can hit your shoulder since it tends to stick out fairly straight. It took about a day and I got used to the feeling of it bouncing off my back. When they hang around my neck I never feel like they're going to fall off. I use them on their longest setting. Great product.

Basic specs: 2.5 inches long and 1.5 inches in diameter. (I don't understand the complaints that it is huge.)Floats stuff weighing 55 grams (1.9 ounces) in fresh water when brand new; presumably floats stuff weighing a little more in salt water. I don't know if the floatable weight will deteriorate over time - - but I figure it probably has sufficient margin for my Costa Permit sunglasses (37 grams; 1.3 ounces).I bought the float with the Cablz Zipz retainer. That retainer holds it off the back of my head unless I cinch the retainer really tight. Even when I do cinch it pretty tight, it's perfectly comfortable.

I've had these on my Oakley Gascans for about a year now and the strap is still holding on strong. I wear my glasses everyday and keep these on them at all times. The mono color never faded and the rubber is still like new. This is the second Cablz I've bought, the other one is still on a pair of glasses and it is about 2 years old. If you are going to wear a hat and want to take them off, get a 14" or bigger, a 12" wont be able to come up around the bill. The best part is that the cable sits around the collar of a t-shirt and sometimes you don't even notice they are there. I definitely recommend buying these if you want any kind of strap.

I really liked this concept but as far as using this retainer, well it just did not seem to work well for me. I am not a big fan of wearing glasses but age forces us to make changes so perhaps some of my negativity is that I really do not like being encumbered by glasses at all. But they work for the purpose they are built for so cannot tear them down, but for me they are not the best option for retaining my glasses.

These retainers are the best in my opinion. The 14 inch are great when removing the over a cap. You don't even know you have them on your glasses.This is my third set of these over a 6 year period. My first purchase were stainless steel. The Monoz were not available yet. My second, were just like these. Someone jumped on me in a pool and ripped the string from the rubber. I was able to fix it but given the money for replacement by jumper.

IT WORKS AS ADVERTISED, HOWEVER IT IS QUITE BIG! ABOUT THE SIZE OF A GOLF BALL OR SO.

While a great concept, in practice the " X large" size is only made for medium frame ends. The little boot that will fit over the end is made of a harder rubber than I expected and it has very minimal stretch. I expected the boots to be made of material that would stretch over the ends of my Raybans, but even as I pushed a little to test the level of stretch it tore along the seam.I feel these would be great for smaller end glasses and the filament design is nice, but didn't work out at all as I expected and are now completely unusable.

Love these retainers. I own every size. Just wish the 16" wasn't adjustable. Also, wish they came a little longer for my big head. 18" would be nice.

Only fits single cable, not the more common adjustable strap that has two cables.Cheap foam.

It’s just a fishing bob. Pretty cheap. And it is way bigger than I expected. It’s embarrassing lookingIt didn’t come with clear installation directions either
