So much for works for every type of hair! I have long, thick hair and it does not work at all! I put it in a high pony and bent and squeezed this holder tight. Within 15 minutes, my pony was down to my shoulder. I redid it three times with the same result. Another hair accessory for the trash!

I have fine hair but a lot of it. This behaves a lot like a scrunchie or large diamehair elastic and doesn't clamp down tight enough to control all the fine hairs from slipping out, so after an hour my hair looks a bit wild. Plus I can't figure out how to get it in an circular shape and have it still holding tight on my fine hair, so the end result is like a weird looking barrette moreso than a pony tail. Meh. Debating return.FYI the Pony-O brand is stamped on the rubber and the accompanying flyer has all the branding so I think I got a legit one.

Doesn't stay in place. Not made for thin hair, like mine. I can't exercise with them and they are so thick, I can't lay down and do exercises or lean my head back on a headrest, either.

The media could not be loaded.  I tried these with my whole ponytail, my hair split in half, and with using an elastic as a support to see if I could get this to work in any capacity. I can’t even get my hair through it easily.It doesn’t hold a pony for anything. It immediately droops and sags. I’m sure this works great for people with less dense hair but if you have any thickness, pass on this. It’ll just make you sad.

It does work as a pony tail should but eventually it falls down .. and sometimes I noticed its not very tight even tho I squeeze it as tight as you can go and bend it like a u like it says you need to do. I do like that it doesn't pull hair or bend your hair much but I had better expectations I guess

I have really thick, curly hair that breaks elastics and/or I pull a lot of hair out removing them from my hair. These were a bit of a struggle to get all of my hair through, but once I did they were super easy to position and stayed in my hair WITHOUT PULLING IT for an entire day and I even slept in it without it moving.

I Don't ever write reviews but I felt like this needed one! I have very thick hair and this works great!! I would definitely recommend!! It is also super cute which is a plus!!

I ordered 'brown' and they are a dark grey. Not a hint of brown.As far as how they held up. Hmmm. I'd say 80%I have medium thick, shoulder length hair. I tried to keep pony tail at top of head, and it slid down maybe 1/2 inch.
