Yes, the Sunbeam Sensor Egg is a frustrating piece of junk. I bought one at PetSmart because I was looking for another PetSafeSSCAT Spray Pet Deterrent. PetSmart did not carry that brand, so I took a chance on the Sunbeam Sensor Egg. That was a big mistake. Much of the propellant escaped during installation, as you must screw the can into the device in such a way that you cannot get your hand completely around the can to screw it in fast enough. Then the remaining propellant was gone in two days, due to spurious discharges by the device and probably some leaking air. The replacement cans are very expensive and you cannot buy them in bulk, even on Amazon. Play it safe and buy PetSafe SSCAT instead.

The batteries were fine and the canister not empty
I also purchased this product. It worked very well, for two days, then stopped. The batteries were fine and the canister not empty. The sensor appeared to have failed. The product could not be located on Sunbeams site.If it had continued working, if would have been great. It kept the cat away from the bedroom door which she was destroying with scratching.

This was great when it worked for the first two nights
This was great when it worked for the first two nights. Then the cat knocked it over, and that was that.

Very effective
I bought this at a pet store to keep my cat from digging in my indoor herb garden. Our new 1 year old cat didn't waste any time digging in my herb garden.I tried tin foil & landscaping fabrics. Kept finding holes & nasty gifts as well as dirt on my floor. While at pet store I found this product. Immediately our dirt digging fur buddy stopped his excavations in my herb garden. After a week still nothing. It will scare humans too. While I'm in the same room I turn it off to keep it from constantly going off.The sensor egg sits up on the rolling herb garden, so the cat can walk through the room without setting it off. He has to jump up on the dining room table or the garden itself to set it off.I do move the sensor egg to different parts of the herb garden so the cat won't be able to figure it out & try a stealthy approach.I was ordering more air cans when I saw the poor reviews for this item. I'm ordering more air cans because we humans have set it off far more than the cat has.Attached are pictures of before & after sensor egg.

Works, until they stop making refills
I liked this product. It worked great. Spent a lot of money on it... then the company stops making refill cartridges. Waste of money in the long run.

Knocks over easily
Very easy for cat to knock over and break.

It works for us!
We've used ours about four days now and it's working great! Our two young cats would walk on our kitchen counters with impunity. We tried yelling, we tried water spray bottle, we tried rewarding good behavior, and a few other methods. Nothing worked. Within a few hours of putting the sensor egg on the counter, the cats were terrified of the countertop. Now, a few days later, they have no interest in the countertops.

Stopped working after two weeks.
I haven't had much luck with this product. Purchased 2, they worked well for about two weeks. The flashing green light is extremely bright, and the sensor stopped working after the second week... Replaced batteries and replaced cans thinking maybe that was the problem. Nope. Too expensive not to work. Don't recommend. Didn't purchase them from Amazon, got them at PetSmart.
