WHat size should be selected for a men's size 10 shoe?

I bought my daughter a size medium and they are approx 1- 1 1/2 inch too large. Will the size small fit? I’m worried about them being too small.

What would you recommend for a women size 6-6.5 and doesn’t wear socks with flats?
