Nite Guard 2-Inch by 100-Feet Repellent Tape

The media could not be loaded.  These truly work; we have been using them now for five years! We tape 3 lengths together then drill a small hole through tall bamboo poles and connect with a wire through the tape and through the pole. They stay high on the pole where we place them. Then we put the poles in and around our strawberry patch to deter Robins who had been helping themselves. When the strawberries are done, or we have had enough, we move the poles to where the black raspberries and blueberries are located. They work better than any scarecrow or other devices we have tried and with ease and very little expense. When the sun hits them it is shocking how the light reflects. They even work at night to keep deer out of areas that are not fenced in if there is a breeze and especially when there is moonlight! Do not buy cheaper brands because they are not as thick and will not crackle or make a snapping noise, which is part of the deterrence. These highly reflect light, crackle and are thick enough to withstand high winds with little damage, although, they are not indestructible. We replace them every couple years.

I haven't had any problems with crows pulling up my corn.

I don't know if it really works or not, I haven't seen or noticed any deterent, but I never actually had a problem before I bought it either. I was just trying to head off any possible trouble.Here's the rub: This stuff breaks up like plastic in the sun and wind, and there are tiny pieces all over my property. I have taken all of it down, and hope to have the trash picked up soon. Bad idea.

It was very effective at first. Birds hated it. But after 1 month the birds ignore it. It also does not work if the wind is not blowing. So usually early morning and late afternoon when the wind dies the birds come back in force.

This product works so well at repelling critters from my garden. I cut 6' long pieces, stapled them to a "T" crosspiece stick and they immediately began working. They flash reflecting the sunlight. With the slightest breeze they make noise similar to an aluminum pie pan. They work great during the day and at night any light, is reflected. My acre garden was over-run with deer and rabbits. Now they all left. I hope to enjoy some of the fruits of my labor this year. Last year everything was eaten to the ground.

Seems to be strong enough, have bought three rolls, and You can see them in the lighest wind, not sure if they work but with my night guard lings hope they do. When wet they just hang, but that is expected. The tape is bright.

I did not use it, maybe it works, I do not know. I returned it because I read some reviews and some folks said it worked-but mostly said it did not work!

Product lists false claims. It does not scare animals away and it does not deter predators. It does flash and make noise. However ground squirrels, skunks, birds and a rattlesnake have all passed by this tape without notice. Save your money and remove your predators and pests rather than spend money on gimmicks like this to deter them.

Seems to have stopped the birds landing on top of my poly tunnel, looking for midges, and making small holes in cover. Awkward to erect but managed by putting canes at each side and stringing tape across

The product ripped in the first storm. We had it installed on four posts to scare birds off a boat lift. Had it tight on two posts and loose to flap on the other two, both ripped, once it fell in the water all colour disappeared. Would not purchase again. Looking for something a little hardier.
