Excellent. Comfortable to use, great appearance, easy clean ,does a greatand efficient job and a conversation starter at dinner parties.

Very pretty, and also works well at removing crumbs from tablecloths. I use this at work in a fine dining restaurant. A tad expensive, but if you're not price adverse then go for it.

As a professional server at a very high-end steakhouse, the crumber is an essential tool, and I've tested several designs over the years. Alessi makes beautiful, durable products. Sadly, they discontinued the previous model, which was possibly the best designed crumber for a professional server, EVER. I miss it. I wish they'd bring it back.That said, this is a functional, elegant crumber that catches the eye and makes my fellow servers jealous. There are two factors that keep it from getting five stars. First, there is no pocket clip. That sucks. Why isn't there a clip? There should be a clip! That was almost a deal-breaker, and if there was a better designed crumber I could find with a clip, I'd probably go with that for that reason. Digging around in your apron pocket for your crumber reduces some of the smooth finesse that impresses the guests, but when you do anything several times a day, you can develop a method to work with it. And sometimes you just have to sacrifice comfort for style. Second, the scraping edge is too thick. It works best with a slightly padded table under the linen. But with a very hard table, it's almost impossible to give that quick wrist-flip and catch all the crumbs with that skill that impresses the guests, and forget about the smallest bits. You'll have to scrape them to the edge of the table and catch them in a plate. That said, the style and elegance of this is unmatched. And regardless of my complaints above, it's all I use. It is extraordinarily durable, will never bend, and has no parts to break off. Believe it or not, people comment on it all the time. You'd never think you'd hear things like, "Ooh, you have a NICE crumber!" But I heard it just yesterday, and I just smiled and looked smug. Somebody help me. I've been in this business too long...

Rispetto ai raccoglibriciole "standard" questo ha semplicemente la lama triangolare più sporgente e un ottimo materiale, è vero acciaio e non è di latta come quelli più economici che potete trovare in alternativa. Altra differenza è che non ha la clip per agganciarlo alla tasca, cosa positiva a meno che siate dei camerieri e vogliate usarlo per lavoro :)Oggetto bello e utile. Nella foto potete vedere come si impugna, usando appunto la "lama" sporgente che rende la presa più comoda rispetto a un raccoglibriciole classico e si strofina la parte più corta sul piano per raccogliere le briciole. Attenzione, funziona bene solo su tovaglie e tessuto, se pensate di usarlo su piani lisci/rigidi non ne uscirete soddisfatti.Se conoscete questo strumento e ne cercate uno di qualità sicuramente il migliore che potete acquistare.

Bought it as a gift. Feels good in the hand. Very effective.
