Taylor Made Products Manual Bimini Top Kit

First you will not be disappointed with the quality of the frame (bows) and the top itself very well made and sturdy, we like the way it looks on our boat (pontoon). However if you are not mechanically inclined you might want someone else to install the top since it comes with no directions at all, their website provides only generic instructions that would cover several tops not this one. The top is 9' 7" long not 10 feet its is missing about 5" which would have been better for our set up to have the full 10' but we can live without it. the important number is how far the bases sit away from each other in order to set them up on the boat, trying to put the top on the boat with out the brackets is not a good idea we set it up in our garage on a plank to get the measurement of where the brackets would go on the railing. that worked very well and i was able to set up the brackets on the boat without the top. the bases are 72" from the bow to the stern the main bracket sets up about 36" from the stern bracket and about 27"from the bow bracket. We have a door dead center on the railings which gave me only two options more cover on the helm or more cover on the bow seats we opted for the helm this is where we missed the advertised 10' coverage. another suggestion do not use the self drilling screws that are provided, buy some bolts to attach the brackets. This is a big top and wind could rip those little screws right out. so good luck in your assembly like we said once you get it up it is a great top.

Difficult to put together without instructions!

I believe Taylor Made products are good but there packaging and Amazon freight delivery choices suck. My canopy came through the mail and Rural mail delivery carriers are set up to deliver envelopes not extremely large packages. The box was badly damaged and large holes in both ends allowing the package of hardware to be lost.

Everything was in the box as far as hardware. Box wasn’t in the best of shape and had been taped many times. No instructions so I had to go to the manufacturer website to download manual

I am very impressed with this product. Thank God I have a husband that knows what he is doing or this could have been an epic fail. Directions needs to be wayyyyy more filed with info.

fonctionne super bien pour un ponton 8' de large manque d instruction mais avec un peux de logique assez facile a poser , matériel de bonne qualité les metal screw laisse a désirer je mettrais plutôt des boulons avec tarot Barr en barre pour les poteau

Arrived without instructions which made it difficult to retrofit onto an existing setup. Worked out ok by reviewing pictures of the original package to compare. We would have preferred green colour but received it in black. Overall, very happy with how it turned out.
