I was able to assemble item by myself just follow the steps it is very sturdy and the storage is ample The design is clean and the color is a lighter grey but a bit warmer than a per sey " blah grey" would order again another company item. product is ideal for smaller houses apts and somehow makes room look larger now with table there I suppose the room looks complete now and I will most likely spray a polyurethane clear ontop to protect it.

Bought this table to replace a coffee table that was getting too old and also really wanted a lift top coffee table for a while now. The packaging that the coffee table came in was well wrapped and the product came with no damage. Assembly took about an hour and wasn't terribly complicated. The hardest part was attaching the table top to the base. The springs provided for the lid are very sturdy and the table top opens and closes very smoothly. Glad I took a chance on this table and recommend to others.

We bought this table as a replacement for our ikea one because the IKEA’s espresso color just always looked dirty with fingerprints, etc. I felt like I couldn’t keep it clean. Pros: - I like the greige wood-look texture - Single top without seam in the middle of the table so if something spills it won’t spill into the hidden storage area - super cheap / affordable - easy to assemble Cons: - lift hardware not as nice as ikea’s - hard to push down, use both hands and a lot of pressure - don’t love seeing the butt joint of the sides and front of storage area, seems like they could’ve hidden this joint with the black metal piece - smaller than the ikea one, may be a bit too small for my living room

Great coffee table. Especially for $80. Love the barnwood look. The lift top is actually better than I thought. If you dont over tighten the gas springs it opens and closes smoothly with no jerky motions. Perfect for smaller spaces and yet has enough holding space for tons of stuff. Assembly was about 2 hours, no mistakes, for a carpenter. Love it

This product, and all their other products are beautiful and sturdy. I am 62, and I was able to put the coffee table, entertainment center, and end table together myself. The only difficulty I had was installing the gas chambers on the coffee table, but grabbed a wrench to help me and I was able to get it done. I highly recommend this brand of furniture!

The table wasn’t too bad to assemble, but it seems I have to put some heavy items in the storage section so it does not tip over when the top is in the lifted position. Although it says laminated wood, it looks unfinished - no gloss or shine to it at all. My grandkids dropped a little spaghetti on it and the food almost had to be scrapped off the table. It almost seemed like the imitation wood absorbed the moisture. I’m not sure how long the surface is going to remain unstained. I just feel like I should have bought an upgraded brand. It will do for the time being. I guess you get what you pay for.

The table is honestly great quality and super sturdy. Took about an hour for two people to build and it certainly is not easy, but we are super happy with the product and it is exactly what I need. The table isn’t wobbly or uneven. I don’t think it would be great for kids though because the corners are sharp and they could easily pinch their fingers

I really love this table! Wish it came in more colors like black or white, too. Luckily this matches my apartment flooring almost perfectly. You have to be careful pulling it up and down but I don’t mind. High quality for the price. My brother has the bigger version and loves it, too! Mine arrived no chips and all parts accounted for.
