I am very pleased with the construction. The rope ends are nicely sealed to prevent fraying and the loop attachment has clean welds. I was looking for an inexpensive rope to add to our ninja course. Many of the other brands were too long, but this one came in lengths that worked for us. I ordered two of the 8-foot ropes.I was a little concerned that some of the feedback said that the rope was too stiff and slippery, so I was pleasantly surprised when ours arrived and the stiffness is just right (not too tight, not too flow-y, but somewhere in between). The rope has a nice and silky feel to it and not slippery at all. It works great using with bare hands!As others have mentioned, the construction is very good. Both the clip on top and the cap at the bottom are well attached, and I doubt we will have any problems with it.All in all this was a better than expected purchase that made us very happy. In fact, we have been climbing up and down the rope in the past hour! :D

We purchased this climbing rope for in our garage. The 18' length rope was easy to install with a very large loop at one end. If you do buy one for climbing maybe add 1' to what you think you need, adding a knot to the bottom for the climber on a rope this thickness will eat up about 1'.We wear gloves just so if we slide we will not burn our hands but the rope is easy to grip if you have the hand strength and the taped end and attachment end should not fray ever.

First let me say this climbing rope is really well constructed. I was excited to see how beefy this product and components were for the price. The problem is it's to slippery to climb (unless you put knots in it, which I won't do). I have strong grip strength and can climb about 20' of coarse rope without using my feet. I bought this for my kids to climb on at home and I have a hell of a time keeping a solid grip with my hands chalked up. The material is too smooth/silky.Edit: This is the same rope used at my kids gymnastic gym, apparently it needs a break in. So the issue is on my end. I'll update if there is any quick break in.

Bought the 20ft as a gift for my boyfriends birthday. He put it in one of our big pine trees in the backyard and absolutely loves it.He watched a few YouTube tutorials on proper form/tips on climbing up/down and is using it a few workouts a week.He swears by the ab engagement he gets from it, not to mention the lats and arm pump he is getting.We are both fitness enthusiasts, and have worked in fitness industry for over a decade. We were impressed with the craftsmanship, high quality, durability, safety and design of not just the rope, but the ring attachment at the top as well.10/10 would recommend.

My niece and nephew had been complaining about my climbing rope being too skinny and hard on their hands. Part of an outdoor jungle gym, swing and climbing station, I decided to buy a "real climbing rope" and this is what I decided to get.Well, let me tell you, those kids absolutely LOVE this rope, they can get their legs around it and climb better than with thinner diameter ropes. It's very well sealed at both ends and the metal loop makes removing and storing a very easy task indeed. I think this will outlast me!I definitely recommend this for all you climbers out there young and old! I could not be more pleased!

The rope was easy to install. I have a martial arts studio and my students love climbing the rope. It is a little slippery but with time we will break it in. My students are able to climb it but I have noticed that I really need to have a strong grip to climb the rope. It does not shed and overall it was a great purchase.

Great climbing rope . Seems to be an excellent quality. Climbing and swinging from this rope is one of my kids favourite things to do in the backyard.Note that if you are planning on putting knots in it for climbing, one knot takes about 1' of length of 1.5" rope. It's bulky!

Great product. Had to wait a long time because it was out of stock, but it was worth the wait!

The perfect length for my rack. Solid, firm, and well made.

I would of liked a rope with a bit more give in it to grip better, overall it's a bit too stiff. Finish is a bit slick too. Not bad for the price though.
