OEM GM product
Product was easily installed. I dabbed dielectric grease (what I had handy) on the threads and the o-ring - I read that Vaseline is recommended. The old petcock was tough to get out from what appeared to be the broke o-ring that likely caused the leak and need for replacement. Look at the new petcock and note the tab that gently needs to be fitted in to the radiator at the same location that the old one came out from, then twisted clockwise by hand to fit. The broke petcock had to be twisted every quarter turn or so to find the "release notch", then pulled out.

Exact fit and good product.
Works perfectly with a little vaseline or similar. Great difficulty in removing it, when finally I turned and pulled it out, the o ring was broken explaining the reason for the trouble. Putting the new one in requires moderate pushing and turning to hunt for just when it goes in.It appears that everytime you remove one you better have a new one to put in. Of course when you use 5 year antifreeze the O ring may deteriorate and brake when you turn and pull, because 5 yrs is a long time.

Added some petroleum jelly and it popped right in, just make sure to line it up with the key way on there radiator. Some reviews said it didn't want to go in, I had no trouble with it.

Pricey, but worth it
For a little piece of plastic, it was kind of pricey, but it was needed and worked. Just be really careful putting the piece in the vehicle and taking it out, can break easily.

Perfect Fit 2006 Chevy Equinox!
Pro tip- it's only a 1/4 turn to open or close it. That's how I broke the old one!

Missing o ring
The o ring was not included even with the description clearly saying it was supposed to be included. Unfortunately this rendered the part useless.

As expected
It fits well and does the job, just don't use it to drain the coolant because these radiators have a habit of cutting the o-ring when the petcock is tightened and causing a leak, which is why I needed to buy this. Drain the coolant by unhooking the big lower rad hose.
