A good story ruined by a non ending as though the author could not create a suitable conclusion.

Above average for the I'm a journalist so I can knock out a thriller genre. I suspect on the real world Kate would not be so operational in the field and have such ready access to the PM. Nor would she retain such a high profile role in MI6 given her husband has just defected to the Russians. But put all that aside and there's an intriguing plot here. It doesn't get completely resolved but there's a third in the series coming which may do that. Mercifully low on the death count compared to others in the genre.

I enjoyed reading this well written and well researched book. But unless I. Issued something along the way the ending seemed remote from the rest of ,the story and I was left wondering what was it all about? I reread the epilogue. I am still no wiser!

Loved the book, read it straight after finishing ‘Secret Service’ as it followed on. I’m new to Tim Bradbury but want to read all his other novels now. EXCELLENT
