Thermacell Mosquito Repeller Patio Shield; Includes 12-Hour Refill; Highly Effective Mosquito Repellent for Patio; Bug Spray Alternative; Scent Free; No Candles or Flames

I purchased a Thermacell lantern with light and mosquito repellant cartridges/pads a few years ago. WORKS! I found this Thermacell mosquito repellant device that uses the same cartridges and pads as most of their other devices. Plus, this particular unit doesn't use batteries and doesn't require charging! LOVE IT and it works! I am a mosquito attracter. I welt up very badly and will itch for a day or two, so it is sad when I cannot join others outdoors on our deck or in our backyard (mosquitos are more prevalent this year!). I use this device when I am gardening, too! Placing a Thermacell device out in the area 15 minutes before you spend time in that area takes care of those pesky mosquitos.....and with this particular unit, it looks great and blends into our decor. I am seriously thinking about purchasing one of their portable units they advertise for backpacking! Great product....again, IT WORKS!!! (I also called the company about the product that says it takes care of black flies and no seeums - a VERY PESKY little knat-like creature found in Florida that bites you without you seeing them - and they welt up horribly. Talked to a fellow at Thermacell who says he has utilized the product for no seeums in Florida and he says they work.....and stated you can return your product if not completely satisfied - but call customer service to register the return. These are a few of the reasons he works for the company.....the products work and the company is great to work for!)

I’m a mosquito magnet, like my husband and I can both be sitting outside, and he’s fine and I just get devoured.This summer (‘23) has been so mild, and we have new neighbors with little kids who talk to me every time I go outside, that I haven’t had a chance to spend much time outdoors. I’ve had the Thermacell for nearly a month, just waiting.Tonight, I have been outside in my hidden seating area, and the mosquitoes found me, so I went inside to get the Thermacell. I used the Quick Start Guide that’s printed under the top flap. Since I started it up, not one bite!It says “scent free,” but there is a very faint citrus scent I am catching every so often. Who cares? It works!

For once something worked!It took about 15 minutes to take effect but once it did we really did see a difference.We use it in a 10x12 outdoor gazebo soft top with zippable netting. It still has various vent holes and if bug really want in they can get in, so we still had a major mosquito issue.Using one of these we went from getting eaten up to seeing only one in an hours time. Major differences.I cannot say how well this would work out in the open hence the 4 starts.Next time I’m at my moms I’ll try it on her open back porch and update.

This thing is amazing. No smell, No noise, no open flame to have to worry about and it keeps those "spawns from hell" we call mosquitoes away. As long as your not too far from the device of course. But this little guy has range and I highly recommend if you plan on doing some gardening or painting or any kind of hobby outside around mosquito season. A++

I was skeptical. We had so many mosquitoes we could not enjoy our front porch in the evenings. But this product worked, we are again able to sit outside and enjoy the evenings.

I literally stood next to this thing and got bitten about 12 times in five minutes. I was really really hoping it would work because I am clearly plagued by mosquitoes every summer. Here’s just two of the bites while standing next to it. I wish I was on video because I watched one land on me after I took the photo, lol ugh.

We weren’t sure if thIs would work, but I purchased two to try out in hopes it would. We put them on each side of our 20 foot patio pad with our patio furniture in the middle. They seem to have worked perfect since we haven’t gotten a single bite since using it. When we sit on our smaller back door wood deck, we only use one of these and we got the same results. No bites! We’ve gotten plenty of bites when wandering around working in our yard, so we know the Skeeters are definitely active, just not where we have these working. Easier to start than I thought they would be too!
