This book is targeted for children ages seven and above. The level of sophistication is fine for that age group, but adults should be aware that there are editing errors.I did learn a few new interesting facts like cats can't move their jaws sideways and that Sir Issac Newton invented the cat flap. This book reads like a reference book; the facts are listed in random order. That will not bother readers who are true cat lovers. Who can resist the picture of a cute kitten? I do wish that the size of the photographs were larger so the details could be seen better.This book makes a nice addition to a reference shelf or as a coffee table book If you have a child or adult friend who is a cat lover, the book would make a nice gift.

Children’s book with fun facts, but there are a crazy amount of typos. It’s simply poorly written, you could probably find a more accurate list of facts (and their sources, which this book entirely neglects) just by looking on the internet.I bought it for my middle school classroom, and am pretty disappointed. The picture is one of five inaccuracies/typos I’ve found in the first 2 minutes of thumbing through. My students will probably enjoy looking through, but they’ll definitely notice some of the errors.

I have had cats all my adult life. I read a lot about their behavior and how to care for them. This was very fast, yet immensely interesting. The things you never knew before. There are some very beautiful cat photos in here for children to enjoy while you are reading cat facts. EVEN If they are too young to remember, the sooner you start reading to them, they learn the human voice. Just like the cat fact that the earlier you play with them, they will like people more. So cat lovers truly are in greater numbers than dog lovers now? But what if you like certain breeds, even if you don't have one? I want a Chihuahua. He or she would get along with my four cats......plus maybe the dog will let me pet him, hold him, and love him. My cats are like "eeewwwww! Stay away from me!" I wonder why they do that.

Cat Book: 101 Amazing Facts about Kittens and Cats for Kids by Jenny Kellett has lots of great info and adorable cat and kitten photos! Great for kids or adults! (And who doesn't love cute cat and kitten photos?) 😍

Anyone who can tell you what an ailurophile is, truly is one. I know this book was intended for kids but as an adult and a fellow crazy cat lady, I loved every line of it. The facts presented were interesting and informative. Isn't it just too true that cats do not define themselves by what we think of them, but by what they think of us? Jenny tells us that cats don't see themselves as mini humans but rather that they see us as large cats. Only a true cat lover would understand and appreciate that. If I could, I'd have given this book more than five stars.

This book is very over priced, there are only 39 pages in this book and a lot of these pages contain a picture of a cat with no writing on it! The whole book is in point form and although these are interesting facts the contents just isn’t enough for the amount I paid for it! Saying that my daughter loves it but I’m sure I could get better in a bargain book shop!

This is a nice little book with good quality photos but it seems expensive for what it is - a flimsy paperback with lists of facts - not ordered into categories, just a line (or sometimes a space) between each one.In same order we purchased a national geographic book on cats which is more professionally put together, similar size, but half the price...

Very informative, e-book learnt a lot about cats. Some very surprising and unique facts. The pictures are great too. Would've been nice if the facts where numbered.

Apart from a few mistakes I noticed I think this book was very good. Very informative and it helped to know a bit more about my feline. Although cats sometimes like oranges and lemons
