Vitoki Heavy Duty Hand Sewing Needles Kit for Home Upholstery Carpet Leather Canvas Repair by Vitoki, Pack of 7

Purchased this for my bug out bag in case I need to repair tactical gear, tarps, clothes, boots, etc. Obviously, haven’t used in a SHTF situation, but did use one of the needles to repair a pair of board shorts that ripped and it worked great as you might have guessed. Needles are large and easy to grip.

I recently bought a storage tent for my lawn mower and a garden cart. I wanted to add some nylon straps to the bottom of the door and I expect the needles will do a nice job stitching them on.

i needed these to repair a cloth covered chair, lazy boy, good chair but a weak sewing job on the arm, ordered heavy duty thread and these needles, other than poking my fingers a jillion times LOL, I am all fixed up. now,. time for my noon nap, get back and give me some room, flatulence optional, best wishes, tumbleweed216

Nice little kit with a variety of needles. Thay are sharp. Easy to use. They are brand new so I dont know how sturdy they are for long term use.

Ordered this set of needles in order to upholster a new cushion for my headboard, had no issue with them at all.The worst "problem" with this set is the Typo that I entirely missed until after a week of having them. Says "Assoitment" instead of "Assortment" on the packaging. Go on, say it with an italian accent.

Got this to sew a hole that burst open in my Big Joe pool floaty. Those things are like big expensive bean bag chairs. These needles got the job done. The fabric I had to stitch up was thick so it needed a big needle. The quality on these are great and are perfect for large projects.

I bought it to complete a somewhat odd project for my 4-year-old grandson. I have a collection of walking sticks that he admires, but can't touch because I'm afraid he'll wreak havoc with one. So I bought him an inexpensive, plastic Egyptian Cobra cane sold on Amazon for Halloween costumes, He loved it but it led him to ask for one that was topped with the head of a Komodo Dragon! No such thing exists (believe me I scoured the internet searching) so I decided to make him one. I bought a more expensive, "novelty" wizards' staff and a rubber Velociraptor hand puppet (No Komodo Dragon puppets exist either) I stuffed the puppet with plastic bags from the grocery store and attempted to mount it atop the staff. After several efforts bombed I came up with the idea to sew the puppet's opening closed around the staff, however, the rubber "skin" was too think for standard sewing materials and so I bought this kit. Worked like a charm and my grandson loves his MAGIC DRAGON STAFF!

Probably fantastic for normal upholstery, just not for leather. They break.

I bought this kit to repair a carpet but found that it has only one curved needle which has the sharpness and strength to go through a carpet. You do get quite a lot for your money though. There are plenty of needles and several rolls of threads which will probably be of use to those who repair upholstery but for carpet repair this is a bit inadequate.
