Country rockers Ozarks' 1980 album for Columbia, just making it into the Billboard Top 200. After the release of this album the band went through numerous personnel changes, though as of 2016 original members John Dillon, Mike Granda and Steve Cash still emerge to play the odd concert. Digitally remastered and slipcased

Fantastic!
I had this on LP back in the day and lost it somewhere over the years. I have loved this band for years and this is one of their latter works. A bit more rock than earlier releases. I saw this band live in the mid to late 1970's. They were billed to open for Dave Mason at a concert at ISU in Indiana. Due to poor promotion and low ticket sales, Dave Mason declined to perform. Ozark came out and gave us a 3 hour killer show. They all could have been lead singers and they traded instruments all night and when it was all over, I had not missed Dave Mason one bit. Absolutely Great band! Great Talent!

The Ozark Mountain Daredevils, so good, I remember "Jackie Blue" on the radio in high school but learned how great this band was in college. This album was made by a minimal OMD line up and it has a bit of a rock n roll edge but it is still the ozarks. I liked all the songs when I bought it on vinyl in 1981 and I'm happy to have it again on cd. What always amazed me about this band was to see them play live... they would play 3-4 songs then the band would exchange places and instruments and start playing again. Very talented!

Buy this!!
This is one of my fave albums ever. If you like country, Americana and a bit of pop, you will love this album. I live in Nashville, and I happen to know the bass player. Tho knowing him, has nothing to do with me reviewing here. This is just a fantastic record.

Good Music
Can't go wrong with OMD. I like the newer stuff they did but this is not to bad, give it a listen.

The new OMD
The Ozarks tried a new sound on this one: less country, more rock and pop. Works for me, I liked "Running Out" back in 1980 when I heard it for the first time, and I still do.
