Headline: Immensely Listenable and Clever Sonics. I've not always thought The Weeknd's music was brilliant and felt a certain uneasiness and uneveness. I'll profess I wanted Madness to continue to evolve. I think though we have an artist seeking and evolving in the dance/synthpop world - not what folks thought he would do - not an MJ, but evolving musicially and yes the vocals are gorgeous and sensitive. My sense is this is some of his best songwriting and the 'concept' quality of the album is intriguing (if a little overwrought in some ways - - other reviews cover all the hidden mysteries - I choose not to pay too much attention to all that). But the Music!.... Gasoline, Take My Breath, Sacrifice, Out Of Time, Less Than Zero are brilliant sonic masterpieces - grab the headphones - the synth work, the sonics, the production by Oneohtrix Point Never is immense! So, listenable, singable, danceable, etc. I also found his concept vids to be quite intriguging (find those on the 'tube). Just buy it and dance or hit the headphones Cheers.

After listening to his albums, this is his best in my opinion.

This is an album that grabs your interest from the very beginning and flows like a river until the end of the final song. I highly recommend it!

This is a great album to listen to. One of my favorites of the year. I will say that this specific vinyl is very plain. Even the sleeves are quite plain, the back of the cover has barely anything on it and the vinyl is just black. But I did not buy it for pressntation, I bought it for the album. And I am very happy. I was most worried that the transitions from song to song might not work as well as on vinyl, but they are still as seamless as listening on a phone. Yet there are still visible lines on the vinyl that mark the separations of the tracks, if you are trying to skip to a specific one. Those were really my main worries and there were literally no problems with either, so it's a five stars for me.

It had the concept of what can be heard on the radio and included a story that had nothing to do with the release. Okay. None of the songs had titles. All were listed as Track 1-Track 16. Okay. The cover and the insert poster left me speechless, because I didn't know why. Okay. The songs, which didn't do anything for me with the first two spins made me rethink this with the third. There seemed to be quite a bit of the electronic synth that was used, which led me to believe that the 80"s was the theme. I would love to give you my favorite tracks, but since there were no titles, I'll just say that it had more songs that I liked than songs that I didn't. A pretty evened out release that did the artist justice. However, in the future, I'm hoping for a little more help please. Leave out the unnecessary and keep it simple...and musical...with a more coherent track listing.

La verdad tan pronto conseguí mi tocadiscos, tuve que comprar Dawn FM sí o sí en formato vinilo. Para mi, el mejor álbum de The Weeknd, con los mejores efectos, una maravillosa composición y la sublime interpretación de Jim Carrey como el locutor de esa pseudo radio, es simplemente excepcional. El disco en sí vino perfectas condiciones, y con un embalaje muy bueno que permitió mantenerlo a salvo durante todo su tránsito hacia mis manos. 20/10

Nicht nur als Fan dieses Künstlers, sondern auch als Teilnehmer seiner Tour und dem fantastischen Konzert in München, konnte ich nicht anders, als diese Vinyl zu bestellen. ➡️Ersteindruck: Die Vinyl kam wie von Amazon gewohnt super gut und sicher verpackt bei mir an. Das Cover zeigt ganz klar, die letzte Phase seiner Tournee und auch seiner Entwicklung. Die Vinyl ist sonst recht schlicht gehalten und macht sich auf jeden Fall sehr gut im Regal oder Wand. ➡️Das Album: Es wird einer Doppel-LP geliefert. Auf jeder Scheibe befinden sich jeweils 8 Songs, sodass man sich auf insgesamt 16 Titel freuen darf. Titel wie "Take my breath", "Gasoline", "Sacrifice" oder auch "Out of time" durften wir oft im Radio hören und genau diese sehr guten Tracks bekommt ihr mit diesem Album. Da dieses Album eigentlich der Abschied von "The Weeknd" sein soll und wir uns auf neue Tracks von Abel freuen dürfen, ist diese Platte auf jeden Fall was für Fans, die in der Zeit mit dabei waren und lautstark mitgesungen haben. ➡️Fazit: Tolles Album mit vielen Tracks, die im Kopf bleiben. Auch das Design ist cool, da man genau weiß, was The Weeknd mit diesem Cover ausdrücken wollte.

It came with the shrink wrap teared and the corners bent, had to get a replacement. Other than that, great quality and discs were quite heavy as well!

il est très neuf et c’est sans doutes un des meilleurs albums d’Abel. je suis impatient d’acheter aussi son prochain album.

DAWN FM is one hell of an album! Go Abel Go! Vinyl record is clean, no scratches, sleeves are perfect. Shout out to the French pressing plant (Made in France) for the excellent work. LOL at the people who gave a bad ratings because they can't tell the difference between studio lighten photos of a black vinyl and a chrome/silver/grey vinyl or whatever. This is like the whole black/blue/white/gold dress again!

The pressing is not silver as pictured. It’s standard black pressing. It’s a pity :(
