ILNP Deep End - Cobalt Shimmer Holographic Nail Polish

For the Cobalt Shimmer, please know it’s a JELLY polish. Meaning the first coat is gonna be really sheer. It took three coats for full opacity. Once applied, however, it looks really amazing. Not as beautiful as it did in the bottle—might be the fault of the top coat I’m using—but pretty good overall. ILNP is also pretty durable. I’m an obsessive nail tapper, I type a lot at work, and I tend to chew on my nails. So far this hasn’t began chipping after 2 days of my incessant abuse.Also, if you wrap the tips, wrap the tip first with this polish. Otherwise you’ll get a lump at the tip.The bottle I received had a wonky brush—I emailed ILNP just to see if I could buy or be sent a replacement brush and they’re sending me an entirely new bottle of nail polish. Their level of customer service is absolutely amazing.

I got the cobalt in and couldn't wait to see what it's like. I've already got some dark purple on my toes and this was an epic top coat!Speaking of top coat... Do not apply a top coat. It clouded up as it dried. 😵 I'm thankful I noticed after only 2 nails.I'll probably need a layer of purple before this polish to get the result I want but will definitely be experimenting! I like that this dries fast and doesn't need a top coat.

Although the color does not match the pictures on amazon, it's so pretty! I was hoping that it would be more purple, but it's more of a deep blue. You can kind of tell from the picture (Please excuse my messy nail polish job and dry hands!). Blue isn't really my favorite color on nails so I probably won't order this particular color again, but I really love ILNP nail polishes.The liquid nail polish itself is also very thin, so you'll need to apply otherwise you can see your nails through the nail polish.All in all, I love it.

This is by far THE BEST nail polish on the market! Better than gel, better than regular ones, etc. This polish wears longer than anything I've ever used, the color selection is fantastic, the glitter they use is super fine so it goes on very smooth. No need to buy any other brands ever again! 🤩

The reviews and photos made it look opaque with a lot of shimmer. The shimmer is there but only when a bright light is on it. It takes several coats to get opaque. I bought some other holigraphic polish from cupcake that only took two coats and was very holographic. I guess i expected this to be similar or better based on the reviews and pictures.
