My only complaint is the teeth on the knives are hard to clean. Definitely need a brush and to hand wash the knives. The other pieces do great in the dishwasher. Great set. Would buy again.

These are really cool, however the black smoky color goes away quickly. Left a spoon in a cup overnight (not the coolest thing I've done, but whatever), and the acid from the fruit left in the cup completely ate away the dark coloration. I don't really care too much, but if food grade acids can destroy the main reason people buy sets like this, it's a little disappointing.

We got these through Macy's at first on our wedding registry. They are a lot cheaper here, and the same quality. They are wonderful silverware.

I bought two sets of the flatware silverware sets (service for 4) with black satin in December 2021. The pieces initially looked and felt great, and were a great addition to the kitchen. Unfortunately, the black satin finish on multiple pieces began to flake and peel off within 3 months of my purchase.

Purchased two set of the satin black flatware and after just two uses I noticed discoloration on several of the pieces. Additionally there are inconsistencies on the thickness of the various utensils, eg some forks are thinner than others, some spoons don’t have the same weight or handle thickness. Some pieces are so thin they bend easily under just normal use like cutting a piece of food. Unfortunately Amazon has a short return window for Cambridge and indicates I have to work with them to get a return / refund. Cambridge says they have a 120 day warranty however they would not honor it after less than 60 days, stating that since I bought the product on Amazon is was not covered. I tried repeatedly to get relief through their customer service but the only thing they offered was another version of their product. The stuff is of very poor quality, the company doesn’t care that they sell junk, and I would advise against buying anything at all from them. They get ZERO stars from me.

When purchased, I really liked the matte finish, as it was something I knew would go perfectly with my dishes. Unfortunately, the so-called "black" color is more like a dark pewter; nothing I can't live with. HOWEVER ... the constant water stains after washing is not only annoying, but they occur within seconds. So, unless you're willing to wash and dry immediately, I would not recommend! Adding to this, fingerprints are another issue I dread. If I had the money, I'd order something else.

They look and feel great and keep the black color even after washing them in my dishwasher.

After only one use and one HANDWASH the color is fading away.And its not black as they advertise, its dark grey, in fact, its the same color as my dark grey fridge.
