The Best Flag Pole I've Found
I've bought many flag poles in my search for the perfect flag pole. I think this is as good as it gets. The adjustable brackets are an amazing feature that to used for different lengths of any flag. IT will untangle itself. Although it doesn't always happen right away. Only reason I'm not leaving 5 stars is I want to wait to see its longevity

Don't think twice..........BUY THIS POLE
I, like many of you, was on a quest for the perfect flag pole for our porch flags. I went to every store imaginable in my area and looked online too but never found what I was looking for - one that didn't allow the flag to hang up.I tried to rig up a homemade version using various clips and ties, but to no avail, it would still need to be untangled and worse yet tore a couple of my wife's prized Tolen (sp) flags at the bottom seam due to hooking on the clips. While I was laid up the past couple weeks, I had time to really look into this again and found this pole. To make a long story short - buy this pole and you will not regret it. It fits the holder perfectly, is made of aluminum and spins freely, which I can't say about other brands I've looked at. And although it is a two piece pole, which I really didn't care to have, it appears that the "joint" will be very strong and sturdy for years to come.My only "watch-out" &/or issue - I had a hard time screwing the top piece to the bottom due to the spinning feature that the top section has. I used a small folded rag and a pair of channel lock pliers (gently squeezed so as not to crack the plastic at the joint) to get the section to screw the final turn and a half. This isn't by any means a reason not to buy this product.

Stops the constant wrapping of my flag!!
This flag pole is great! That is, previously I had a pole that didn’t rotate, and my flag was almost continuously wrapped around it. I bought this one to solve the problem, and 90% of the time it does! Also, it is visually attractive. I also bought a Valley Forge wall mount for it that works great with it. It came with 2 rotator clips, when only one is needed. I guess the second one is a back up??

Excellent flagpole, looks really nice too
This flagpole really impressed me when I opened the package. It is amazing just how really good it looks - very difficult to tell it is not a wood pole at any distance. It took about 1 minute to get my flag mounted and hanging proudly out front!I would have given it 5 stars, except both the top ring mount and the bottom moveable mounting ring are really cheap plastic, and while they seem to work fine for now, it is pretty obvious they will break eventually. At least they give you a spare lower ring, but if (when) the upper one breaks the flagpole will be done for.One final comment that has nothing to do with the product whatsoever, but shame on you Amazon.com: My flagpole came in a plastic bag, about 3 feet long by about 2 inches around. Amazon packaged this in a box that was 5 feet x 4 feet x 6inches thick. They could have fit about 30 flagpoles in this box. What were they thinking?

Parts missing
I ordered two flag poles. One set was entirely missing the ring clamps to secure the bottom of the flag to the pole. Fortunately the other flag had 2 of them, and since only 1 is needed, made it work. Instructions would have been nice - fortunately another purchaser gave detailed instructions. Haven't yet installed them outside so not sure about sturdiness but hoping they'll work.

Fell short on the flag mounting rings
The pole is just what I wanted, BUT...only the top mounting ring has the clip for a grommet hole and the spinning feature to keep the flag from tangling. The other two are useless on my grommeted flag. If I'm supposed to use the tightening screw for the lower ring to go through the grommet, it failed to work because the flag grommet's too big. I'd add a washer, but the OTHER thing wrong with it is that the lower ring doesn't have the spinning feature to keep it from tangling. You're forced to buy additional mounting rings for that. I'll buy them, but not from Valley Forge. They could have done better on this, but took the cheap way out to save a nickel or two.

Perfect Product and Some Instructions Below
This flag pole works perfectly. I used to have to leave my flag indoors on windy days but now it is out everyday and it works perfectly. Has not "furled" since I put the pole out and we have had a lot of wind. The pole looks great too and it's hard to tell it isn't real wood if you aren't touching it. The only downfall is that it doesn't come with instructions and just in case there is another person out there that is as perplexed as I was on how to use this pole here is my explanation: (1)Hook the top grommet on your flag to the hook that is at the top of the pole. (2)Take one of the clear plastic rings and slid it onto the pole from the bottom up. (3)The clear plastic screw is what goes thru the other grommet at the bottom of the flag and then screws into the plastic ring till it is tight on the pole. The top half of the pole spins in the wind so no need to leave the ring lose. The second clear ring and screw are extra. Enjoy.

Not for High Winds
Mounted it at 45 degrees on pole near rural road as a symbol of unity during these extremely trying times. Has been up for about 2 months. A super strong wind, aided by the weight of a wet 3x5 US flag, bent the lower section of pole downwards. Top section blew out, and with flag, I found them in the ditch across the road.New pole looked and felt good but could not withstand such a wind.Have discarded instructions. They may have cautioned about taking it down during heavy winds, do not remember. So if you remember to take it down when strong wind warnings are given, probably a good purchase. Otherwise, not.

Great flagpole- no more tangled up flags!
This is great because the top portion of the flagpole spins along with the flag, so more more flags tangled around the pole after a windstorm!
