7LED Colored Lights Illuminated Crystal Display Stand Base

I just received mine in the mail today. What threw me off when i opened the amazon box was the original box it came in showed the picture of the bland rotating stand. But alas it had this one in it. In the above pictures of it, it appears to be circular shaped but what i actually have is the same stand but its not round. Its a solid hexagon cut around the edges with some cuts at the base but not as noticeable and brilliant looking as the picture they have shown here. The good thing bout this for me is that I'm showcasing a 3x3 square laser-etched block. So it lines up well with the hexagon shape. But be warned its not a circle you sphere glass loving people. Im 1 hr into this thing on. So far brilliant and fast color changes like others have said.

The media could not be loaded.  UPDATED AGAIN (08-29-14) This lighted display base is broken. Only lights up red. Although it shifts to try to light up the other lights, it continually stay red. I have reduce the use of this base from a daily time of 4-6 hours to maybe 1 hour every 3 days for the past 8 months. So it isn't getting very much use and now it quit functioning properly. I thought about getting another one to replace it, but I see that many reviews are stating that this flaw of only having one color work (even brand new) will keep me from getting another one like it. It's too bad that the makers of this base would cheapen the quality of a good product in a year. Only positive note...my base worked beautifully for just under a year. Now I will try to find a better light display base from another company that will last for more than a year.UPDATE: (12-11-13) So far this base has been excellent in it's quality and durability. I have used it daily since I purchased it and it performs wonderfully. Usual run time is 6-10 hours daily.I now have a video clip of it in action. My geode looks awesome as this light base shows off the colors. It even has a rainbow effect on my ceiling. Will be ordering some more as I need to add light to more of my crystals. Enjoy the light show.I was looking for a clear LED base for my newest edition to my crystal collection. I recently received a Melody's Stone "Cathedral" Geode. I wanted to light up the crystals to show off this gorgeous rock creation and this base was exactly the right size to do this.My geode is 13 inches tall and 10 inches wide (weighing about 30 pounds) and I was hoping that the light would be bright enough to highlight all the amethyst crystals. It did not disappoint me in the least. Very bright and great colors to accent each crystal. I used to have a 4 LED base, but I wasn't impressed with the little bit of light that it gave off. I was amazed at the beauty of the geode, but now with the light accenting all of it, I am very satisfied. The only minor concern is the flickering at times when it changes colors in the base itself. This is no bother to me as it only adds a little more reason to draw your attention to this stone's beauty. So far, I haven't had any trouble with the cord (it is underneath the weight of the stone). The switch is a bit tough to turn on and off because of it's smaller structure, but it isn't much of a concern. The size is perfect in height and it doesn't take up but a couple of inches. The clarity of the base is just perfect for any geode stone. Shows off the crystal and not the base. A good buy.

The sturdy glass stand is very aesthetically attractive and the crystal sitting on it with the changing lights is very beautiful. Our friend was really pleased with this stand and keeps it running all the time. He had 2 shades of crystals to interchange on the stand and each reflected different hues from the lights. It doesn't secure the crystal sitting on top, it only is secured by its gravity weight, so it must be kept away from small children's reach. We were very pleased with this purchase.

Nice crystal like display stand. Looks sold not flimsy plastic. I purchased for base for a ceramic piece my son made in high school. The ceramic piece is packed away so I have not used as such yet. At this time I use it as a night light in the corner of my bedroom. It casts a beautiful rainbow array of changing LED lighted colors on my ceiling. I connected it to a touch switch so I can turn off and on as needed. I think I may also place it in a large planter to illuminate the plants. This item has many possibilities! ~K

Better than I expected. Looks like lead crystal. The top is a flat surface and it has three little legs which are difficult to see in the photo. The lights pulsate fairly quickly, and are set in a silver colored cup similar to the kind that tea candles come in. On my crystal piece it reflects mostly in shades of blue/green, although you can see the other colors as well. It has a switch to turn it on/off, but it doesn't rotate which is not a problem for me. I would have given this item 5 stars, but the lights are a bit too dim. It would be perfect if the manufacturer but brighter LED bulbs in the piece, and slowed down the pulsationsAdded on 4/24/15:After only owning this light for about 2 weeks the pulsation stopped working. None of the colored LED's burnt out, but they no longer strobe when lite. The object itself is made to look good and still has value as a nightlight, but I no longer have the enjoyment of seeing the changing colors through my crystal. The reds have become more noticeable over the blues. I suspect that the company who markets this product contracts with another vender for the electrical inner light pieces. I've decided to keep it, because it still is a nice little stand for my crystal egg, and if I receive another replacement I don't believe it would last much longer before it too would malfunction. I won't be buying another if this one is damaged. As I stated, it still can be used as a small T.V. light or wherever only a very dim light is needed.

This stand is very clean cut and clear. It is corded, which I saw alot of inquiries about! But it will hold thing beautifully! Colors show very nicely! It is a push it clicking button on the bottom and there is a spot to plug in the power cord. So if you choose to use the stand without the cord for a non-lit way of display you dont have to worry about a cord hanging around. Good quality and I do recommend this for small displays of glasswork!
