I will absolutely NEVER buy from this company again. First off the packaging was plastic wrap which was super disappointing in the first place. Secondly it says that it comes with resin but there was none. Third of all on the bow the strings were already falling off. Fourthly, the fretboard looks like someone had hot glue gun did it back on and not even in the right place because it's way too high and if I were to put strings on it there's no way that they could be straight enough to play. And last but not least nowhere in this description did it say that it didn't come with strings. I am pretty in shock about how terribly made this violin was. Like it's not even a child's play toy let alone a starter violin. I wouldn't spend 5 bucks on it.

I ordered a cello, viola, and a violin on the same day. I really didn't expect to get a playable instrument for the amount I paid. I didn't expect the fretboard to be completely plastic and hot.glued on ... crooked. This is a badly put together toy. Not a starter instrument. I wouldn't recommend buying it for more than a shelf display. I'm wishing I had paid a bit more and gone with the company that made the cello and viola I ordered instead.

Save your money! I feel awful as this was a gift for my daughter's birthday. The paint was messed up and a string was broken but the worst part was even the music teacher at the school couldn't make this thing really play.

super cheaply made. Strings kept unfurling. Refused to tune. cute for a decoration but as an instrument it sucks

ABSOLUTELY JUNK! You definitely get what you pay for and the piece of junk isn't even worth the $30!!! "High Quality" my butt! Came with a broken string, the string tuners are a toy-like plastic. And when I attempted to return them, their responses were incomprehensible and they refused to pay the shipping and provide a label to send it back. Totally asinine!!The only reason this thing would be worth buying is if you needed a cheap prop for a picture or for a school play.

Does not come with bridge set. Expect to pay between 80-150 depending on the shop to set the bridge,string,and tune for it to be playable. Beautiful, but it's not "ready to play if you are expecting to have you kid use it immediately. Took 2 weeks at a busy music shop to set up. No chin rest or shoulder rest is included also so expect to pay another 50-70 bucks (total) for those two pieces.

Don't waste your money! I had this for 7 months and kept it in the case the whole time and the neck of the violin broke off the body! They make it look really nice but it is a complete piece of junk. When I contacted the supplier, I was told I kept the item too long. And they won't return it.

IT WAS TOO FLIMSY THE WIRE WAS NOT STRONG AND I DID'NT CARE FOR IT, BUT THAT'S ALL GOOD EVERYTHING IS NOT FOR EVERYBODY. I WILL TRY AGAIN WHEN SHE IS OLDER AND BUY A MORE EXPENSIVE ONE. THANK YOU.

Decent violin, but the bridge falls down very easily due to the paint.

It was perfect for what I needed it for our festival of trees music tree.

Paint also hides a poor quality wood and/or craftsmanship. This will be a great toy, but if your child wants—or you want— to play violin, rent one from a local vendor.

It doesn't even play.

Amazing how I was able to get the sounds hoped for.Took the little beasty fishing at the river. Marinated those fish right to me!!
