Proper fit, and looks great, lots of compliments

After dealing with cauliflower ear from BJJ tried using magnets. They can only do so much. Wearing headgear has solved my ear problems. Some people at the gym teased me at first but F’em. This headgear fits me well and offers great protection. The strap can be a little bit annoying and I feel like it’s slightly easier for opponents to choke me when I wear it. It also gives opponents more material to “grip” with forearms and such. For day to day training that doesn’t bother me. I choose not to wear it during actual BJJ competitions.Only 4 stars because the pad on the chin strap has worn out after a few months of training 3-4 times a week and I have tried several times to contact the company to buy a replacement but I can’t reach them. I’ve worn the headgear a couple times without the chin strap pad and it’s not awesome but also not the end of the world…I have more pressing issues to worry about like people trying to strangle me. I do plan to buy some neoprene and make my own replacement chin strap pad.

My son loves this headgear for wrestling. It looks cool, fits great, and protects his ears from injury.

This has been great. My son (8yr old) prefers this to the more expensive one I bought him. He says it’s way more comfortable than the others. It takes a beating and hasn’t even started to show signs of wear and tear yet. We practice 5 days a week and compete at least 1-2 days a week so it’s used ALOT.

This ear guard was super lightweight. It felt flimsy and delicate. The ear holes do not let very much sound though. The two areas where the straps attached together had very large “bumps” that felt obtrusive.

**Edit** I changed this down to a one star because a month into actual use (thats like 4 tournaments) they both started falling a part. Ripping at the seems, the inside cloth covering is barley there anymore. These barely got the kids to the end of their seasons which was only about 2 and a half months or easier put 8 tournaments total. **I only giving this a 3 star because it is not as described. I bought two these for my children specifically because it had the strap on top to ensure the headgear did not slide down. The two I got did not have or come with this strap, the sole reason that I purchased this headgear.

I use this product for a non-traditional thing, namely, head gear to wear at night so I can safely sleep on my side while letting ear piercings heal. Wish I would have found this thing sooner, it works great for my needed purpose, as it is comfortable enough on the face to lay on my side, but still a firm enough curvature away from the ear to not smoosh my still healing piercings. The under chin strap is not long enough imo and is definitely not comfy, so I don't use it (just let me eye mask clamp the gear around my head). It may be fine for wrestling though. I will say, I have a small head and this fits me snugly. It is adjustable, but feels like maybe it runs a little snug.
