Bought this for my gransons birthday. Great item and good value. He loves it.

We bought this for our 5 year old grandson and we were hugely impressed both by the incredibly comprehensive instruction booklet which carefully took him through every step and by his enthusiasm for sticking with it. I've given it 5 stars for being "easy to assemble" but in some ways this is misleading. It wasn't at all easy, but it was easy enough for him to manage, with application, and to give him a great sense of achievement.

Great kit, lots of pieces but not difficult to assemble.

A great gift for my grandson who is a Lego nut. We built it together and really enjoyed doing it. The instructions were up to the usual Lego standard and quite straightforward to follow. With all the moving parts it is so much more than just a static toy. Well done Lego.

This mobile crane set is excellent. It has great functionality and great looks as well. So why is it only almost perfect? The cable doesn't have a guide piece to keep it in line with the lifting arm. If the cable could run inside the arm then that would have worked, and if the arm had a stick-on collar to keep the cable in line with the arm then that would have worked as well. As it is, the cable gets wound to the side of the arm and it just looks wrong. I found a Y shaped piece of Lego and stuck it on near the bottom of the arm so I've solved for my own set, but it really should have come with an O ring or Y piece to keep the cable centered to the arm. Other than that, it's a great set.

Bought for a six year old who assembled it In next to no time. Item was on offer so good value.

My Son loves diggers and cranes and crane trucks, he absolutely loves this toy!This was great value for money.

This is a really nice set to bridge the gap between standard Lego and the more technical sets. I gave it to my son for his 8th birthday and he enjoyed the additional challenges that came from building the set.
