For the price, the product is great. My son uses for his normal to dry skin in the winter and I use for my combination skin am or pm in the winter.

I have super dry and sensitive skin and this helped to heal some wind and sun burn that I had over the weekend. It felt amazing and the redness dissipated within hours. It reminds me of Aveeno Calming Night Cream but a much better version. If you deal with any redness in your skin, you know that cream can work wonders and this is so much better. This feels like butter and sinks in quickly with no greasy leftovers. I have been trying several products from this brand lately -- the hyaluronic serum and moisturizing cream. Both are fairly effective for day time use but are not quite as moisturizing or healing as I need. I think they would be better for my skin during the summer. Right now I am dealing with the effects of winter on my already dry and dehydrated skin. My skin is also very sensitive and many thick or rich products cause irritation. I am always trying new products to find what will work best for my skin. This chamomile intense moisturizing cream is heavier than the hyaluronic moisturizing cream and works much better on my skin, at least for now. It is thick and rich but I have experience no redness or break-outs since using it. It is a creamy color and glides on my skin smoothly and is absorbed very quickly. It helps ease the dryness, which I attribute to the ceramics and the moisturizing effects are long lasting enough that I can use this as a night cream as well as during the day. I really like using it in the mornings with the serum that I already mentioned. By itself, the serum is just okay, but coupled with this cream, it really hydrates and softens my skin and lessens the appearance of all of those pesky lines. Best of all, I don't need to reapply during the day. This is a well formulated cream and I like the inclusion of the chamomile, which really does seem to calm and soothe my skin. The moisturizing cream arrived boxed and properly sealed, which is an important consideration for me. The current price of $28.00 seems reasonable, especially when I consider that the tube holds two ounces of the cream, and I really don't need to use a lot to feel as if my skin is protected. This is my favorite product from Be Plain that I have tried so far, and it is very effective so I will definitely be repurchasing.

Beplain Chamomile Intense Moisturizing Cream with ceramides is a light yellowish cream that doesn't leave my skin greasy but has a thick, buttery texture. This cream is fragrance free and feels super gentle to my mature, dry, sensitive skin. Like most moisturizing creams, this combines emollient, humectant and occlusive ingredients.Some examples of emollients in this cream are the ceramides, fatty alcohols, squalane, mango seed butter and silicones. Glycerin is a humectant. Evening primrose oil, mango seed butter and silicones (Methyl Trimethicone and Vinyl Dimethicone) are occlusive (and the mango and silicones are also emollient).So I consider this a moisturizing cream with ceramides to promote healing of the skin barrier. While this initially felt slightly occlusive, my dry skin absorbs it within a couple minutes and I don’t feel like it leaves a noticeable barrier. I can wear it under makeup without an issue. It imparts fairly good moisture, my skin feels soft and silky and it smooths my fines lines temporarily.I do use some creams that I feel provide my skin better hydration, so this isn’t what I prefer on a daily basis (but it would likely suit many well). However, this cream feels moderately moisturizing and I like using it when my skin feels particularly irritated as it feels super gentle and soothing and seems to calm and help heal my skin barrier. This also has lower risk ingredients using EWG ratings as the standard. Like it. 4 stars.
