Works as expected, but really smells of rotten fish, dog loves it!!!!

It seems like good product so far. Be careful not to get it on the floor as it is Slippery and hard to clean up. Also, if you put it on the hoof bottom, it can make the hooves slippery.

So, firstly, I do love this for hydrating my horse's hooves. One application gives about 5-solid days of good hydration (I can feel it on his hooves for days on end even after hosing him down, etc.), and I notice how flexible his frog is when using this.HOWEVER...the reviews are not exaggerating...it smells like very gamey, slightly souring fish meat or scales (kinda how your hands smell after you catch a fish, but more gamey). I figured 'these people must have sensitive noses.' NO. They do not. Their noses are on point. I can smell my tuna-horse from 2-stalls down. And the flies LOVE! THAT! In the WORST WAY! It's gotten quite hot this week (June), and yesterday he had so many flies congregating on each hoof that it looked like his hooves were glittering. Nightmarish. I thought he was injured or something at first and they were on wounds, so I picked up his hoof and saw nothing, so I did smell it and could smell FISH from the application DAYS EARLIER. Absolutely not the vibe! Would recommend sticking with this in winter.

This does the trick with moisturizing dru hooves. Have a gelding with quarter crack and dry hooves. Look great now!
