Lace Front Tape - 36 Pieces

I like this tape. Super Tape is one of the oldest brands of lace wig tape in the game. Still works like a charm. Takes a couple tries to get it right the very first time you use it but once you find the rhythm it's great. My wig has yet to lift. With Got2B it lifts after about 2 or 3 days. And interestingly, with glue I get even less of a hold. Tape is still going strong. You do have yo make sure your skin is VERY clean and free of all dirt and oils. Clean the area you plan to tape with 91% Medical Grade OR HIGHER if you can find it. Anything less than 90% is not going to cut it. It also helps to maybe have a fan going to keep from sweating while trying to apply the tape/wig. It'll help with keeping you dry until you've got it on. Once you've applied the tape AND the wig, you can sweat and it's not gonna come off. When I apply the tape I also let the tape cure for a few min before pressing the wig on. Once I have the wig on I take a end of a rat tail comb and just press and smooth the lace down.The side of tape that has the print on it goes on your skin. The other side with two tabs is supposed to be facing up and that's the side you will press your unit down on.To remove the tape from your skin, just take some oil (any oil will do) put a generous amount on your finger tips, gently rub in a circular motion, and the tape will slip right off; you will not lose your hair as long as you are patient and gentle with this process.To detach the tape from the lace. Take the same medical grade alcohol on a cotton ball or napkin and press it into the tape. The wig will detach without issue. Since the tape does not leave hard-to-remove residue, you can either clean your skin again and reapply the wig immediately, or if it's been a while since you washed your unit, you can wash it, wash your own hair if you need to, let everything dry or blow dry it, and then reapply repeating the same process.Disclaimer: not every skin type will respond well to this tape. If you have a serious perspiration issue or super oily skin, this may not work for you. My skin is slightly oily, but nothing that a cleanser, and some alcohol or scalp protector can't temporarily fix while I get the unit on.To the people complaining, don't say this product doesn't work or doesn't stick. Just say it didn't work FOR YOU. Everyone's experience will be different depending on your skin type. This goes for ANY type of adhesive system whether it's liquid, glue, tape. In some cases tape alone may not be your solution. Try using the tape WITH a liquid adhesive and you might see better results. There are a lot of tutorials out there on how to make your lace stick longer if you tend to sweat a lot or have oily skin. Look those up. Ms Lola still has one of the best tutorials 10 whole years later.Anyway, that's my two cents. This stuff works for me. Wouldn't trust any other brand! There's a reason they're still around after all these years. Super Tape really is SUPER!

Seasons greetings. The last set of tapes we ordered, 2 packs out of the 3 packs are not sticking well. They are stuck to each other and the sticking substance isn't holding like they normally do, making it difficult to separate them. Could you kindly replace the 2 pack of tapes that are not good? Thank you. I await the replacements. All the others packets we bought before these ones worked very well.

Update to previous review. Keeps everything in place. Nice and secure adhesive, IF YOU CAN PEEL THE PAPER OFF THE ADHESIVE. Bought this twice but never again. You waste too many strips trying to separate it from the tab.😔

Strong hold but must use caution when applying it , very sticky , easy cleanup with tape remover but only if you remove it in the first week it has been applied if left longer then it can get quite messy to remove from scalp and hair unit .

I don’t what people could possibly be talking about if they say this doesn’t work well. It works great! You could go swimming with this and it would not come off. For those who say it used to work really well and later it doesn’t, that is because you need to learn how to properly clean things. Oil buildup is a natural adhesive remover. Look for the review that was written by the lady that uses this for the a lace front wig that she uses underwater. She nailed it!

My opinion from my experience. 1st idk y this seller rating for dis product is so low, I was skeptical about buyn it bcus this is my 1st time tryin tape and y’all I MUST SAY! WHAT R U WAITING FOR! I mean seriously dis tape is amazin n holds VERY VERY well. I agree it’s not a low profile tape. I am a BAD SWEATER and dat darn got2b n GHOST BOND plz STAY AWAY from it. Got it Friday so far wig still secure. One image is me outside sweating as usual no fake or water.... If you haven’t ordered dis yet your missing out on a very inexpensive lace front tape. BUY!!! I haven’t got n a pool r washed my lace while it’s on but let me tell ya it looks water resistant.

I normally don't write bad reviews because I do my research before I purchase so I'll know I'll be happy . That said I took a chance and I regret that the product didn't work for me. The hold failed after a few hours on my forehead and didn't regain tacky when wiped with a cosmetic wedge damped with rubbing alcohol like my other tape does. If you aren't one that sweats it may work for you.Positives: it has a hold and peel tab that avoid fustration and the curve is helpful along with the length of the tape made it easy to use.

This is my first time using the lace take period it has a very strong hild. I tried it out and keep it in for a week in half. But when I was ready to take it out, it still held strong but you have to be careful that you don't pull your side out. I had a hard time getting it take to stay around my years but then held on good around my hairline and is that nicely to the wig cap. I think once I learn how to apply it properly it will be a very good tool to use to laydown my lace wig. The only downside to this state is once you apply it to your area it's hard to pull the backing off the tape but if you use tweezers and have patience it will work. I watched A youtube video on how to apply the tape and it was helpful. I guess practice makes perfect!
