I have had this on my daily ride for over 4 years now. It’s never fallen off, no bolts ever fell out (maybe because I tightened them before install), it slips when the temperature is over 110*f sometimes (then I tighten the quick clamp) it has preformed perfectly!I even like that I can slightly tilt it on the fly (depending on how much I have tightened the q/c) to force some air under my half helmet when it is 110*f outside.I found that after reading the other reviews, most people are dumb as they didn’t TIGHTEN all the bolts during install!Now the only reason I’m back here is, I just entered that “dumb” crowd by mixing up my vinegar screen wash with spray Isopropyl alcohol, and crazed the hell out of mine and need a new one, which I will order without hesitancy as the product is less money now than my original purchase AND has performed flawlessly!!!

Item arrived in good packaging. The menu could use better instruction. The acrylic material used is no better or worse than my stock Honda NC700X windscreen. The mounting mechanism is sound and solid, and it actually looks better than in the picture.Despite seller's claim, the screen is greatly distorted so it is not meant for rider to look through it. However, if you have a small and low windscreen for your bike, having this addition adjusted up to your neck or chin makes a world of difference, as in the case with my Honda. It has also enhanced the look of my bike!If you are on the fence if this is a generic cheaply made product from China, get it home already. I am glad I did not spend $100+ going after some brand name product and instead went with this. It is IMHO a good looking item and a good value for the money.I am docking one star for seller's mis-claim about its "see-through-ability".

This is the second one of these I purchased. I am not sure if they were manufactured by the same company or not as there are several Amazon suppliers offering versions of this. I purchased this to reduce helmet buffeting on my Burgman 400. It worked well enough but I had an aftermarket windshield on the scooter that was strong enough to support this extension. The original Burgman windshield would accept the extension but the flexing made me concerned that it might get flung off the bike at interstate speed. Another complaint for me was the fact that I had to look thru the extension when riding in order to achieve the reduced buffeting benefit. The reason that is a negative is that the extension is not optically clear. There is a distortion that made it look as if it is a magnifier. If you can mount it and look over it, it will be better. It is still a good buy though. There are almost infinite adjustments possible for directing wind flow and the mount system seems to work well and is well made. Years ago I purchased a similar item from Wunderlch that cost me over one hundred dollars. It was optically correct and well made but if was pricy......

I was going to buy a larger windshield for road trips on my dual sport DR650. Decided to take a chance on this at 15% of the cost of the larger shield. This little, well made and inexpensive "clip" on makes my little windshield work like a large one for nice quiet road riding. And it is easy to remove and store when I don't need it. Great product.

In my opinion, if you are doing this to save money over a new windscreen then I advise not."You get what you pay for" never was more true than with this product, at least for me.Here is why...1. No instructions but it was easy enough to figure out - even for a dweeb like me.2. The parts are very frail and it's a fumble to get the silicone protectors and back plates lined up and held in place on the mount while the unit is being attached (you need octohands) - One slip and parts fly everywhere and the included lock-tite(ish) liquid can get on everything.3. The silicone protectors are too thin.4. The back plates that go between the silicone protectors and the screws are too thin and improperly sized.5. All the parts are so thin and malleable there was no indication that of any of the screws that attach the unit to the fairing were getting tight.6. Your allen wrench will keep spinning with very little effort and the cheap aluminum of the mount will bend if you are going by feel alone.7. Second attempt, after bending the parts back, I used my eyeballs only (not feel) and tightened one turn past contact (they still felt loose but I trusted the lock-tite(ish) fluid to do its thing).8. I figured everything was good. Looked kind of rinky-dink but if it saved me $150 it would be worth it.9. I never got the chance to test it - the next day I came out and my stock fairing had spider cracks all over it from the screws on the unit dimpling the thin back plates just enough to start stress cracks.Final note... Assume I am not an adept mechanic. However, even if I did everything correct the first time I am not sure how safe this thing would be. It does not attach that securely and I would be very concerned about it breaking off and flying into my face. You may not actually see any cracks but if they are there, any wind stress could create a very unsafe situation at highway speeds.Sorry to the little company with a great idea. Your product just needs to be better engineered. Then you could charge twice as much and it would be worth it. Some people seem to like these things. If it works for them then that is great... Your product earns 1 star for the good reviews.I am now off to shop for a new replacement windscreen... oh joy.

This work with my problem with the buffering helmet but the vision thru is not completely clear. The plastic windshield is a little blurry and sometimes need to see around it .
