Answer to motorhome step problem.
Had to replace this item on our camper. Purchased this and found it to do the job. Steps are working now and it was easy to install so no requirement to have done by professional. We did it ourselves.

Works great, it has my electric steps working again on my rv. Much cheaper price than the big rv store, probably the same item. I bought the motor to have on hand. I may buy another switch incase another rv has a break down an I can fix there's

When your RV steps become faulty, this is the FIX!
My electric steps on my motorhome were acting very strange. After testing and ruling out the switches and motor, I ordered this Control Unit Assembly. Arrived quickly and installed easily. Problem fixed!

Direct replacement
This was an exact replacement for the one on my 1994 Holiday Rambler front door steps. It was very easy to fit.

Direct replacement
This is the exact replacement unit for my electric step. My old one would work only once in while. Took some time opening and closing the door to get the step to open and it had to be open in order to replace this unit. No alternative. Once open, I disconnected the power and swapped out the unit. 10 minute replacement time ( once I got the step open). Works great now. This is in a 2006 motorhome, so I went ahead and replaced the step motor as well.

Direct replacement for Lippert part number 776367
Worked as expected. Replaced the old one w this one and worked like a charm. One thing to note - on 2020 and newer the control unit maybe a Lippert part number 776367. This is a direct replacement for this part.

Worked first time. Super good quality. Little pricey but definitely worth it. I bought the aftermarket Chinese one and it was awful. Had problems left to right. Awesome controller!

this worked as advertised, it only has 3 fastening points but 2 fit existing holes,, I had to cut the plug for motor off old unit and attach to new one..as connections are different, an easy fix,
